I will say this once again. I have raised a child with a seizure disorder that has had varying types of seizures. None of what is on those videos is evidence of seizures. |

Anyone here in the city today? I was. It was HOT. It was very HOT. And there were no seats for VIPS at the 9/11 ceremony. I'm about twenty years younger than HRC and I took every chance I could to sit as we walked around.

So maybe hot, having problems with her allergies, has been recently diagnosed with pneumonia, on antibiotics...I think if it were me, I would likely have some issues with the heat as well. |

Interesting that Dick Cheney's heart health over HIS ENTIRE CAREER didn't seem to phase people in the least little bit. FIVE heart attacks, his first being at age 37 and open heart surgery the year before he because Secretary of Defense and another while he was VP. No, he wasn't President but he sure was running the show those years. Were they kept secret? I seem to recall that his health status was always quite well-known? SaveAs is Clinton's. She has not been keeping secrets - it's just the wacko conspiracy theorist Trumpers who won't believe what they've been told. Meanwhile, their own candidate has only released a single letter from a shady doctor and they're not bothered by that.<shrug> |

It's that big black pantsuit, I been trying to tell yall! I'd be faintin' too if I dressed like that, too. Add spanks and I don't even wanna talk about it. Yep, not to mention the Kevlar vest she was likely wearing as well. This is a good point. I tend to pass out in the sun, even if it's not 500* out. This is definitely plausible to me.
I'm not medically inclined so don't want to speculate on other health issues she may or may not be having.
At any rate, I don't wish ill on anyone. I hope she's feeling better now.

If she's on antibiotics for pneumonia, I know from experience that those make you more sensitive to any kind of sunlight. What feels fine to someone not on antibiotics can feel much warmer to someone on those meds.
ETA: At this point, though, given the way Trump & his surrogates are messing around, she should release a statement, or do an interview.

I don't like her. That said, my mom has that coughing thing and has had it for like 10 years. She's had it so long she doesn't even notice she is loudly coughing ALL of the time anymore. According to her doctor it's post nasal drip from allergies although she tested negative for every allergen they tried. She is on meds, but it doesn't seem to help much. I think HRC probably has the same thing.
As far as today's episode, she might just be plain worn out and spreading herself too thin. I know I can get really out of sorts if I am not getting enough sleep and also eating every couple of hours. I have low blood sugar and that will make me get dizzy, nauseous, overheated, and cranky. I've come very close to actually passing out from not eating.

I actually found info on this a few years ago via the internet and brought it up to her because she DOES take blood pressure meds. She pretty much blew me off because she is a retired RN and all. The excuse that she is wearing a suit, is overworked, is putting things into high gear, is 68, etc. don't cut it for me because SO IS TRUMP. In fact, he is a couple years older than her and has done FAR more rallies and campaign stops than she has and has not once had a medical issue. Something is up with her health. If she truly does have a medical condition that is causing her to get sick and need to take days off of her campaign trail, it is awfully selfish of her to hide that from Americans and claim she is fit to run our country. If she's tired now, just wait until she actually gets into the White House (IF she gets there).

It is newsworthy when a candidate for President of the United States collapses (and that's pretty much what happened) at a 9/11 even in New York this close to the election. She has pneumonia. That's a serious problem and a perfectly reasonable explanation. Covering the news is pretty much what news programs are supposed to be about. Have we come so far from true objective journalism that it's hard to recognize real news when we see it? |

I've fainted multiple times from being overheated and I'm 44 and in good health. The first time I did so I was wearing wool pants and a wool sweater on a day when it got surprisingly warm, and i fainted clean away at a shopping center. I was 20 :/.

I usually do not post here, because everyone has their own opinions, and so much written here is purely attack, and rarely facts. Thank you Peabay for noting that it was hot in NYC today. I am in NYC today also, and muggy, no breeze and hot, and the crowds are out of control. Again add the Kevlar vest, and the grueling schedule Hilary is on, and the EMOTION of the day, and many would be affected.
At some point, everyone needs to stop I don't like her/him, and focus on the policies proposed by the presidential candidates. NO ONE candidate is without flaws, but elections should be based upon which candidate offers the method and solutions that you wish to see as a voters (and keep in mind that a President is not a dictator, but needs the cooperation of Congress to effect changes, or not).
Lets try to bring some dignity back into this election and stop being the Mean Girls.

I gave had pneumonia and it sucks, but here is my issue. She was diagnosed on Friday, so when this happened today, why not just say she was sick but thought the day was important enough for her to try and be there. It is the lies after the fact that is the issue. Now people will not believe the pneumonia diagnosis, and really with her and her campaigns habit of lying, who could blame them. In this age of Internet etc, the truth always comes out, and with this pretty simple diagnosis, the lies after the fact makes everything that comes from her campaign suspect. Yet she wants us to believe her campaign promises.

To me, this claim (from a member of the public) seems as unprovable as the claim that something more than pneumonia is definitely up with Ms. Clinton's health. |

We lost a 67-year-old neighbor to pneumonia last winter. She got really sick really fast. It was a horrible shock. Pneumonia is nothing to take lightly - and even otherwise healthy strong people can get sick when under the kind of stress and schedule the candidates have when campaigning. Not to mention the number of people you come into contact with who can infect you with all kinds of stuff that can lead to bigger problems.
Am I remembering right, that Trump is a little phobic and doesn't like to shake hands? If so, probably better for him. Hillary tends to get close physically to the people and meets a lot of them in small groups. You can easily catch a cold and have it become something more serious.
