Stay safe, especially if Jim Cantore is there. My DH says he is always in the worst of it.

Iselle has been downgraded to a Tropical Storm - waking up to wind and rain. Haven't turned the news on yet, because everyone else is still sleeping.

Ok this is what I see online for the Big island More than 20,00 out of power around Hilo, Waimea. Heaviest rains in the south including Volcanos Park, and Hilo and north of Hilo. Some homes have lost roofs.

Any Kona peas out there? How are you on that side of the island? Hugs to all!

News just reporting Kona will be getting hit with rain soon.
One area on BI had 10" of rain.
Maui is also being hit.

I'm thinking of anyone up at Kilauea Military Resort in Volcanoes NP (DD and I vacationed there in 2008) as it is on the volcano. I wonder if they evacuated and/or are safe?
