so sweet and cute! I feel your ambiguity. My kitten is still in the rambuctios stage. She tears around the house like her tail is on fire. Then sumersaults and tries to eat her tail. We never know when she will end up under our feet and have caused her to yelp a few times when we accidently stepped on her. It is heartbreaking to hear that.
I tried putting a collar with a bell on her but she went beserk trying to get to it and almost hurt herself turning backwards flips and the like. thank goodness it was a break away collar or we would have never got it off her.
But she is soooo sweet and adorable when not doing the psycho kitty routine. She followes me around the house and has to be with me everywhere I go, including the bath. It horrifiefs her that I sit in that much water and she feels the need to be sure I get dry when I get out. She still has a kitten voice and calls when I put her up at night. (There is no way I could leave her loose at night, we would not be able to sleep a wink!)She sleeps in my craft room so I have to clean it up every night to be sure there is nothing out that can hurt her. There are a few things that would hurt my feelings if she tore them up, but they would not hurt her. Thankfully, she is accustomed to being put up at night and goes willingly. Its better than crating her.
As husband says, she won't be a kitten forever, so just let her enjoy it. We are enjoyng it as well. Soon enough she will be turn sedate and calm and we will have to work to get her to run and get some exercise - LOL. This is the first kitten I have had, I always got adult cats before. At 66, this will probably be the last kitten as well - LOL next time it will be an adlt, just too old to deal with this again even though I am loving her.

Your new fuzzy friend is adorable! Have you picked a name out yet? If not, how about calling her Little Mischief? She sounds like she is going to be a lot of fun and a wonderful friend.
