Mine isn't. I absolutely hate clutter so things get put away at my house immediately. It helps tremendously that I live alone

Because generally speaking, guests will be least likely to see your bedroom, and therefore it is a "safe" place to have messy. We tend to keep our entertaining areas the neatest so that we are not embarrassed if guests come by unexpectedly. This. Without a doubt. Totally this.

Our master bedroom is HUGE! As in 17 1/2 by 31, huge. It is the place that things get put when we "stash and dash" clean. It got very overwhelming for me. I have been working on fixing the problem this summer.
We had 4 overflowing bookcases in there. I donated most of those books.
Then a lot of extra bedding from over they years ended up in there. I donated most of that to the animal shelter.
It is looking a lot better but still needs some work.

What Lavendar said. It's easy for me to stuff and stack in there when I have to tidy up in a hurry. And ditto the laundry. I carry it in there to fold and then let it pile up til I have a mountain!
