I can not understand how anybody can support him when he can not form a complete sentence in answer to a straight forward question. I am scared to see what would happen when he sits down with world leaders and makes that face and says "wrong" over and over to them. I am proud to be a democratic and I am with her.

I feel like the writer of this article was watching a completely different debate than I was. "Donald Trump won tonight’s debate. He didn’t implode, he didn’t blither, he didn’t continually interrupt Hillary Clinton and he didn’t even sniff much. And, frankly, he had the best retorts and one-liners. Clinton was on her heels much of the night, and several times, she had to reset by resorting to tired, hollow platitudes — which only drove home the point that she lacks authenticity and appears to be a typical politician who is therefore dishonest. That said, Clinton was an able, informed politician, but Trump — for the first time — appeared to be a worthy opponent."

That, to me, sounds like Trump-in-debate3 beat Trump-in-debate1 and Trump-in debate2. Standards low. Don't sniffle? One liners? Yeah, I wouldn't vote for anyone based on that or for those reasons.

Lol. That's not The Washington Post saying Trump won, it's one opinion piece that was published in the Post. The Post has endorsed Hillary. But, as a responsible news source, they do allow dissenting opinions to appear in the paper, despite Trump's criticisms of the American press. And his desire to censor the press.

No surprise. He's a Republican. www.bgrdc.com/b/bio/25/Ed-RogersMoney quote: "Since 2011, Ed has been an opinion writer for the Washington Post, where he writes about politics and the current state of affairs in Washington, D.C., from a Republican point of view."

I've only watched bits of it so far but I think I need to go back to school ....he has a totally different meaning to democracy than I have ....Hey Mr Trump....democracy is for the voters to decide not the candidate! To publicly announce "that he will tell you at the time" is a sign of autocracy.....is that really what these people that are going to vote for him want for their country? I can't believe that I would ever hear a candidate for the Presidency of the United States EVER saying anything like that, EVER!

Indeed - this would seem to be way more than party politics now, almost a national duty to make sure he isn't the next president!

What scares me is that within CNN's panel of undecided voters, 5 said they are now for Hillary - and TEN said they are now for Trump. And there was another panel of undecided voters that they reported was breaking out the same way. What in the hell made them think Trump looked better? And how can you seriously be torn between these two when they are so different?

Trump looked unnaturally (for him) pale. He must have a horrible illness that should call into question his overall health and stamina. As for what he said about not accepting the results- I took it more as he wasn't willing to consider that he wouldn't win at this point. However, given his level of crazy, it is concerning. And I cannot believe I just somewhat defended something that asshat said. I think he said it so th media would talk it to death this morning, and they are.

That wasn't the question.....he was asked specifically if he would accept the result of the election, the moderator even pointed out to him that he wasn't suggesting whether he won or lost but asking if he would accept the result whatever the outcome. If he's playing to the media then he's playing a very dangerous game....the whole world is watching this election not just the American media.

And that Trump did better than Trump has in the other 2 debates.

The thought of him "leading" this country is horrifying.

I think the Washington Post let a republican write that article so the paper seemed unbias. It is in the opinion section.
A couple days ago we had a debate on here about whether or not Trump snubbed kissing Tiffany. Well he must have read those comments online and she was the only kid he kissed after the debate. lol

It is pretty much a consensus that Hillary won the debate. I wanted her to turn to trump and say "You let a woman beat you", like Gena Rowlands says in the movie Gloria. Not a scientific poll by any stretch, but my little home town paper's online poll has Mr. Trump winning the debate by 62% to 38%. My county voted President Obama both times. Granted, a lot of us are more likely to read news coming out of the bigger markets, but ...

I missed all of this last night because it was my carpool night for soccer practice and we didn't get home until almost 10. I DVRed the debate and stayed up far too late watching considering I get up at 5:30.
I did not start out as a "Hillary supporter" but Donald Trump scares the living shit out of me.
Just listening to him talk makes me all HUH? and having him in control of our country is not an option for me.
Hillary talks circles around him.
He obviously doesn't understand late term abortions.
WTH is "bigly"?
And he said he "never apologized to his wife" about those things he said on the tape with Billy Bush, yet she said in an interview that he apologized and she accepted and we all should too.

I must have been smoking crack last night without realizing it, I can't imagine how anyone can think Donald even did well in that debate last night, let alone win it. Of course I pretty much missed the last two debates, so maybe when you finally rise above the bowels of the bottom of the barrel you look fantastic.

It will be interesting to see the national polls in the next few days. Unless something dramatic happens, I think the election will be closer than some of the pundits are predicting.

I think it was honestly his remarks about abortion and his selecting of Supreme Court justices that upset me the most. I was undecided but not any more. I kept thinking, through all these ridiculous debates, that I'd consider him if he came out sounding rational and with some solid policy plans. OMG 😲 NOPE 👎.

It's crazy that these are the same people Who were staunchly opposed to the idea of a "socialist" candidate running. But everyone Donald trump says makes it seem like he is going to be the supreme ruler of the land who can "make things happen" just like that, including jailing his opponent, overturning Roe vs Wade, and so on.

According to my close caption, he is actually saying "big league" - although that doesn't make much more sense either. “We have millions of people that did it the right way. They're on line. They're waiting. We're going to speed up the process, big league, because it's very inefficient,” Trump said.
