are any of you localish to the Cubs and would one of you be willing to pick up and overnight ship a W flag to me. I think dh would love it and unfortunately if I order online it won't ship until the 2nd, just in time for the series to end.

There's fireworks all over the place outside, but I think it's really Haray, Jack, Ernie, Ron, my grandpa, and the rest of the guys celebrating in the great beyond. Hey hey and Holy cow!

My fil, who passed away in 2013 was a huge Cubs fan. We are so excited, but sad at the same time because he isn't here to see this. Goooooooo, Cubbies!!!

I'm a devils and an avs fan (hockey) and I used to say if they met in the Stanley Cup Finals, I'd just sit back and enjoy. Well, in 2001 it happened. While watching the first game, it was very evident that I am a bigger devils fan at heart. I'll be interested to know how you fall when the series starts. |

We were at a Moody Blues concert tonight, checking the score before the concert and during the intermission. They were finishing Nights in White Satin when a guy across the aisle and two rows down leaned over and told the people ahead of us that the Cubs won. Word spread very quickly and there were some cheers for the Cubs amongst the applause for the song.

Sportscentre here showed about an hour of the celebrations and post game interviews, boy was that fun to watch!!!! I think it's going to be a a great series with the Cubs winning. If they could take it 4 this Jays fan would be very happy.
Does the W have any other meaning other than Win?
