Naked and Afraid!

Naked and Afraid intrigues me. You couldn't pay me a million dollars to go on that show.
Sister Wives is probably the only show I secretly watch. I won't watch it if dh is home. And I tell him every Monday I am going downstairs to watch my Bachelor shows because he won't watch them. But I never admit to watching Sister Wives.

Dance Moms. I can't help it. When we lived in Korea we watched Toddlers and Tiaras illegally online, and saw a commercial for it. We because obsessed with finding it. We did, and DD started doing "Maddy" dances, lol. When she had to quit gymnastics for health reasons, she knew exactly what she wanted to do- that!!
The show is ridiculously NOT what dance is like (and DD stopped competitive dance after a year to move to serious ballet) but it has a hold on us still, we still watch. I'll always be grateful to that dumb show for giving DD an idea that there was something else to try besides her single minded devotion to brutal gymnastics, even if it is cheesy, scripted and overwrought.
I can't admit to the other dance moms I watch it, though. They would never understand!

Someone asked about LockUp.... LockUp is on MSNBC and it a show about prisons. It actually has been on TV for quite awhile. They show life in prisons all over the US. It is a documentary, yeah, that's it...well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I watch Lock up if dh has it on. Why he watches it I will never understand! He works at a Prison! You would think he got enough of it on a daily basis! Lol
I watch Teen Mom after dh goes to bed. He hates it. I also try and catch Naked and Afraid. At first I thought it was totally stupid, but it really is intriguing. I could never ever do that!

I watch Dance Moms but only because one of the dancer's family is an acquaintance. Do tell! My daughter and I binge watched the first couple seasons, and it's bad but I can't help myself! I will also shamefully admit to watching: Teen Mom 116 & Pregnant Catfish Marriage Bootcamp KUWTK Naked & Afraid Hardcore Pawn Lizard Lick Towing Jail Real Life Sister Wives Finding Carter Need I go on??? I have never seen a Real Housewives show though. For some reason, I am irrationally annoyed that most of them are not "house wives" at all. I've also never watched Jersey Shore, but I did used to watch Jerseylicious. I am disappointed in myself just typing that list!

Hold on! There's no shame in admitting you watch "Buffy" - or other brilliant Joss Whedon shows, like Angel, Firefly, Dr. Horrible. (I give you permission to be embarrassed if you watched "Dollhouse.") I'll even admit I've been to a sing-along version of the musical episode of Buffy - at a big movie theater with hundreds of other dorks who knew all the words. But to put it in the same thread with "Sister Wives"?! Harrumph. Not that I would know ANYTHING about Sister Wives. Nope, no way. Hey now, dollhouse was not on the same level as Buffy or Firefly, but it was still pretty good!!!! I also saw the sing-a-long in a theater, did yours give you a bag full of goodies like Rocky Horror?

My shame shows are the Challenges on MTV, and my bigger shame is that I have a crush on CT. I also watch The Real World, but that is just research for when I watch the Challenges, I want to know the back story on the new players.

Nothing to Declare. I love watching people squirm when they have been caught red handed trying to sneak stuff into the country. I especially like the Australian version. I love the way they unearth the latest cunning way that drug dealers try to hide stuff in all sorts of unlikely places.
My favourite was the woman who tried to sneak 2kg of heroin into the country under her wig. How she thought no-one would notice that her hair was a mile high is anyone's guess. Now if she had tried a bee-hive style, she might have got away with it.

Snog, marry, avoid. Don't know what it is about that show but I love it, also partial to my strange addiction, hoarders and anything true crime related.

I think it's Hard core Pawn - the one with Les and his 2 kids. I always get a laugh at the way the 3 of them handle the customers - all the big talk about not taking bad behaviour from customers and that they'll throw them out etc. But who does the throwing? The big burly security guys, not weedy old Les or his obnoxious kids. They just trail behind and yell from behind the body guards. And they always seem to lose the customers stuff, or say it was never pawned at all.
I know most of it put on for the camera's but it's a riot.

I also saw the [Buffy] sing-a-long in a theater, did yours give you a bag full of goodies like Rocky Horror? Huh. It was a memorable family outing, but I don't remember if we got goodie bags. Years earlier, we got them at a sing-along Wizard of Oz. (I remember the bubbles for when Glinda arrived.)

My default channel for when I'm home alone is the Hallmark Movie Channel. Last Saturday I watched it for 6 hours in a row! (Granted, I was doing work for school at the same time, but still.....)

Nothing wrong with Buffy! I'm rewatching the series on netflix right now. Joss Whedon is brilliant! Now the movie, that's a whole different story. I don't think I watch anything too embarrassing. I avoid reality TV like the plague. I do occasionally watch Teen Mom or 16 and pregnant if nothing else is on, but now that I have Netflix and Amazon streaming video, it's rare that I turn on the TV at all.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Long Island Medium. Is that one so awful that I'm the only pea viewer? Umm, I love that show. I totally admit to watching. The relationship she has with her family is hilarious. I got way too sad when Petie died. I watch this also.

Recently, after DS had gone to bed, DSO walked in to find me watching Good Luck Charlie. He said "You know DS has gone to bed, you don't have to watch Disney channel now." I was like "Oh but it's part 2, I HAVE to find out what happens!" I watch more Disney shows than a normal 46yo woman should watch. Same here. I enjoy Good Luck Charlie (was actually sad they ended it) and Dog with a Blog. And can tolerate Jessie.

Another one that brought out the inner teen in me was Dawson's Creek. I had an old lady crush on several of the character's including Dawson. For me, it's Pacey. I can't resist a bad boy.

Well, obviously reality tv is never going away thanks to you peas! Buffy is the only show I watch that gets weird looks when people find out, but I'm proud to admit I've watched every episode at least a few times!
