How many people are now cleaning off their desks or taking their laptops to the neatest room in their house right now? ...how many of us are closing this thread and pretending we didn't read it so we don't have to participate?

This will kill two birds with one stone. This is my view from the couch. What do y'all think I should put up there in that empty spot over the cabinet thingy? If you're talking about the triangle sliver of wall space above the cabinet and below the ceiling, my vote is nothing. "Negative space is delicious." Lynette Jennings. I do think the lotions and potions on the side of the mantle need a basket and a spot on a table next to where you use them. I also have an opinion on the arrangement of the candlesticks on the other side but sometimes my designer mentality just won't shut up and I have to shut it up. I love the color though. I love the whole color scheme you have going.

I am currently peaing at the kitchen table. The first thing in my line of sight is this package of leftover cupcakes from a party last night. If I look beyond the cupcakes (and that's hard to do)...I can see part of our back deck and yard. Including a table that really needs to be cleaned.

I'm going to be brave here. I'm in the middle of getting new floors...all my furniture is in one corner of the room, and all the underpad, staples and strips have been taken up. My new wood floors are coming in 10 days! This is my current view.

Don't underestimate the power of the peas. I think we could get at least 4 or 5 pages on towel rods vs. hooks and the resultant freshness or staleness of towels. And if you happen to have highly decorative, dry cleanable color matched towels not to be touched by slimy guests, it could go down in history.
Sillyrabbit -- do you mean the triangle of wall above the cupboard? Could you mount and frame the S family emblem and hang it up there? I'm not sure that I would feel compelled to have anything up there if I were trying to draw attention to the decor on the mantle or shelf where you have your candle sticks and potted topiaries.

Yeah...I need to do something with that lotion and junk. lol And the candlesticks and other stuff are just kinda there...DH is working on my mantle so I kinda have crap stuck wherever I can. My older DS finds it entertaining to rearrange the candlesticks every few days. It always makes me giggle.

I usually pea from my laptop in bed because my couch sucks and my kitchen table has uncomfortable stools. My dresser is directly in front of the bed, so you would have a nice view of me in my PJs in the mirror and the laundry I haven't put away and jewelry scattered across that I have never been able to successfully organize. Maybe when I move I'll do some sort of jewelry display thing on the wall and share a photo then.

Beautiful dawndoll! Is that a house or restaurant. Looks awesome! It is our home. It does have a spectacular kitchen in it though, and what you are seeing on the left is a bar with stools. The whole kitchen/dining/living area is open. Thank you for the compliment.
