I couldn't watch on TV, the hysteria would drive me bonkers. I'm just using my phone to get the electoral votes.

Cbs commentators saying that Trump was expected to win these votes.
They are saying some states are just too close that HRC should be winning.

20,000 votes separate them in Florida. Trump ahead by 49% to 47.
Wasn't this a state they said would go blue?

Florida shows pink, meaning it's a Trump state, or expected to be. When I went into Florida all I saw were Trump signs.

Are there any Trump supporters here tonight? I haven't been on the boards much the last couple of weeks ( I have a new grandson !) but haven't seen as much political 'chat' as I expected . The Trump supporters have been pretty silent. They have not seen much tolerance on this board. This has been a very interesting election year. Lots of surprises. Congrats on the new grandson, I have one, too!

They just said that Trump had 75% of women's votes in Several states. How can they even??? I'm gobsmacked how ANY woman could support him. I'm at a loss as well. At book club, one of the women that was there said she works in an office with three other women. The other three said that they would rather have a child rapist as president than a woman who stayed in a marriage for convenience and power. So, I guess that is where we are at with equal rights and respect for women.

With as close as some of these states are, I wonder if 3rd party protest voters are rethinking their vote Every time I have heard someone say that their vote doesn't count so they are voting third party to "show the parties what they think" I want to scream. Just because a state goes one way most of the time doesn't mean that it automatically goes that way every time. A vote for a candidate who has no chance of winning is a vote for the person you like the least.

I literally looked at the odds makers (even though illegal to gamble on election is US) to see who they predict to win. They don't often lose. And college analytical sites they rarely are wrong. link They both predict Clinton. But who knows.

I knew it would be close...which is why I knew I'd regret not voting (so I voted at lunch today) but I had no idea it would be this close.
IMO, if someone like Trump can be this close to the reigning Queen of the Democratic party...I don't think that really says much about her.

Colorado, Michigan, and Pennsylvania will all go Clinton. The rest of the eastern half - Trump.
