That's especially helpful
for me, because I usually buy the store brand that's less expensive, so I wouldn't have noticed.
Just ONE sheet is really convenient! I used to bake a lot for my coworkers, too---they
called me Betty Crocker

I loved to bring random goodies quite regularly, and I also
loved to make birthday cakes, and everyone else would bring all kinds of yummy main
dishes, sides, and appetizer-type yummies to nosh on through our 12 hours.
I'm glad I learned this from being on nights---because when I was a patient years later, I wanted to bring the ENTIRE staff some treats, but---as I'm sure you and your coworkers
have experienced---many times, treats brought in by grateful patients get eaten up
and were rarely saved for night shift. Knowing that, I purposely brought it treats
what had big SIGNS on them, designating one box was for DAYS, and "please save
this box for NIGHT SHIFT"

Annnd, I used a LOT of tape on the night shift box in
case day shift was tempted to sneak into it
And, I know EXACTLY what you mean about night shift being ignored! I worked nights for MANY
years, too. I have to give kudos to ONE hospital where I worked that changed their
previous closing time of 9 pm to 2 am ! Even though the choices were nothing like days and
evenings; I appreciated being able to get a BLT at 1 in the morning

oooh, they
made the BEST grilled cheese and BLTs that I've EVER had! Only thing I wish they'd
had was a nice salad bar like they did during normal hours. I usually brought my
own lunch and snacks, but just like everyone else in the world, sometimes ya don't
have time to pack a lunch and/or you want something different from a cafeteria, right?
