Yes, there is cranberry with blueberry. I haven't had it though. I don't like the overly sweet cranberry cocktail juice. Low-sugar cranberry juice, lots of ice, a dash of vodka. I really want to like vodka but I just can't drink it. After I threw up my retainer when I was 13 and had to fish it out of the toilet after too much vodka I never touched the stuff again. We have really good vodka, too. I am just scared. I can't drink gin either. It's too bitter or something. Cranberry and rum just don't seem to work do they?

Lol I've become a real lightweight.

Lol I've become a real lightweight. I have learned to embrace Mike's Hard Lemonade in cranberry or strawberry. Even then it's only one. (Maybe two if it's a special night or something...) I have 2 six packs in the garage fridge and I don't touch them. I could, though. Me drinking alcohol reminds me of my ex-husband and it invokes a lot of anger into it. (His hobby is "alcohol" as he told us at the dinner table one night). It's hard to enjoy it when you want to scream at someone who isn't even there!

I want to like wine and I don't like wine. I have tried gin and it's too bitter. Vodka makes me sick. All I have is rum. Now I do like rum n coke or daiquiris.

See now. You're doing controversy wrong. You're supposed to come on and call me a heathen and rhapsodize about crushed berries and a sprig of basil or something like that. Geez! how long have you been a Pea? You should be able to do this right by now! Lol...you're right. Those better be organic cranberries crushed by the hooves of Lippizaner stallions, strained through virgin silk. The vodka, triple milled (lol I don't even know if that's a thing) and infused with a hint of African dikdik urine. Serve with a fresh branch of witch hazel in a glass wrought of recovered sunken Titanic sea glass. Anything else is so plebeian. Now the fight is getting started!! Any of the options sound wonderful.

Gin sucks rocks. It's for people who like their poison to taste like poison. Or to imagine they are drinking a cocktail in a glade of pine trees. Yeah, it is an acquired taste but I have acquired that taste!! Yum, I'd have one now if I wasn't at work. With THREE olives!

I think they had mango so they are definitely good for you Now I'm thinking I need a drink but all we have in is Southern Comfort and nothing to mix it with!

it's a valid opinion...and spot on i'm surprised at a lot of people here in the last week not enough to bail but enough to reevaluate and i'm sure that doesn't matter to many but hey "wow, just wow!" gina Feel the same way. I mostly lurk. But I am lurking less and less. I know one thing I was very unhappy when Obama was elected both times and not once did I come on the Pea board and say negative things about him or people who voted for him. This is not the inviting forum it once was. Yes, me. Too

In my old age I have finally come to the point where I recognize that sipping tequila is far more mature than guzzling shots like a desperate frat boy. Turns out, I am less likely to act like one too. lol

I would rather not drink than drink junk. I get my dad a good Scotch for "Christmas" every year. Sometimes he gets cognac, too. It depends really if he has been away and has been duty free shopping. We have plenty of good booze in the basement. Have you ever had good Napoleon brandy? My dad in Japan had some $10,000 brandy so every sip was $100 or so. It was ok. I didn't hate it but I didn't think it was worth that kind of money. I mean it was smooth and all but not $10k worth. You'd probably know better.

Someone gave me a bottle of chocolate cherry liqueur for a gift once. A shot or 2 of that in iced coffee is divine. And I don't even really like coffee. Well, except with lots of chocolate and sugar in it, so there ya go.

Turns out, I am less likely to act like one too. lol I don't do shots- or sips- of tequila ever since the one time where I drank too many shots and also ate deep-dish Chicago style pizza, and I ended up having to throw away a sofa pillow and rent a Rug Doctor to clean the carpet... no more shots of tequila for me!
one can of Mike's Harder Cranberry Lemonade is about all I can do at once, too, unless I'm sipping a glass of white or red wine. But too much wine makes me really mean and bitchy- no idea why, but it does- so I try to only drink one glass.

Gin girls unite! I love, love, love me some gin. I currently have Tanqueray, Hendricks, and Plymouth on my booze shelf. I normally drink straight G&T with a lime wedge. I won't turn down a cocktail that also adds some ginger beer to my gin. I started drinking gin when I lived in England in the mid-80s. We'd go to London for the weekend and drink at the hotel bar (Bonnington Hotel in Bloomsbury). I felt very sophisticated for a 19 year old.

Cranberry and vodka. I like a nice simple drink. It's all you really need. There. That should get the controversy going. I agree! The older I get, the less tolerance I have for most alcohol, but vodka and cranberry always sits well with me. Try Carmel vodka 2oz (I use Smirnoff brand) and 8oz of apple cider. It's amazing
