We are finally starting to stir this morning after a very long day and night. Man, I love my team and I'm so sad that the season is almost over. The stadium was rocking last night. Sorry your kid is being an annoying brat, anxiousmom , but well ya know. One of these days, he'll have to eat crow but not for the next 364 days. As you know, bragging rights are fleeting. I'm gonna enjoy it while I can, though. It was actually a pretty tame crowd last night. I've been to games that have gotten really ugly. We head baxk back to Germany this evening. I think it might take me a month to get over this trip. I sometimes think I'm getting too old for this shit. Oh he was annoying all right. He texted me this morning: Him: Good morning mommy! It's a lovely day! Me: Is this your passive aggressive way of saying you won? Him: You bet. (lots of handclapping and thumbs up emjois follwed) Me: I know your type. Be gone child. Him: Not a chance loser. He's still young though. He doesn't yet understand the concept of the long game. ETA: Hope y'all's trip back goes smoothly. That is a lot of traveling over a short period of time and makes me tired just thinking about it.

From worst to first, it's been an exciting run long time coming for the Colorado Buffaloes!

It was pretty ugly in the first half, but thankfully my Badgers remembered how to play after halftime and beat Minnesota. The one college football rivalry trophy I actually actively care about, Paul Bunyan's axe, stays in Madison for another year!

I think I like him, though.

I hear ya, anxiousmom! DH is a Gator and his own sister went to FSU, so the rivalry runs strong in this family too. DH was disappointed, but luckily we were not watching the game with my SIL...she's not a gloater but she has a very annoyingly gloat-y friend that is sometimes there if we all do a game watch together. Makes me not want to do game watches with them. As for me (OSU Buckeye), I have a very good friend who went to UM, so we were texting a lot during the game (she was out of town with her DD's sports tournament) -- we totally take it all in fun!
