I saw an ad for a square pan and have wanted one ever since. Now, this is the TSV at QVC for $69.96. It's 11" square! You can get it with either the long handle (Saute), as in the picture, or with two of the smaller handles (Casserole).

Please report back on how you like it. Your post makes me want one ; ) I can.not.believe I'm the only one who's been wanting one of these babies! The pan can take 800 degrees F! I got a (different brand) round skillet back in the spring at WalMart and I love it dearly. This looks like a better brand. I checked out YouTube reviews and the results weren't quite as non-stick as they show on TV, but we can live with a little bit of sticking if that happens. (My skillet has a hot spot. Everything else about it is fantastic.) A glass press is included in this set. You can use the press to make paninis, grilled cheese, hamburgers......

I googled and could not find it either. But did find a lot of bad reviews on amazon. Yeah, well. There are a lot of good reviews, too. As I said, I already have a different brand but similar construction skillet and I love it, even though it has a small hot spot. It can be put on a hot burner, go in the oven, and cleans up so easily. I'm getting it specifically because it's a better shape for my son to cook steaks and other meats, and the pan can get HOT like he wants. He was using one with the older Tfal-type coating and that should NEVER be used at the kind of heat!!!! Everything else it can do is pure lagniappe! QVC has a great return policy. If it's a dud, it's going back.

You pronounce it lan-yap and it means giving a little something extra as a gift. It always makes me think of a baker's dozen of donuts. Which makes me think of beignets. Beignets make me think of Cajun restaurants and that thought makes me hungry. May as well give me a cookie. And a glass of milk.

Apparently, QVC had this on before and people liked it so much, they asked for a bigger one. That's the one on special now. I bet you'll be seeing it there soon.

Gee, thanks! LOL!
I have been doing my best to ignore QVC. They suck me in every time.
Last night, dh called for me to watch something on QVC. Now you.
That pan is tempting. I don't dare watch the presentation. We have vet bills to pay.

As I am packing up everything I own, I am realizing how much cookware and bakeware I already have. I am softly chanting under my breath 'I do not need another flipping pan, I do not need another flipping pan'...

I have been really wanting that but the reviews on Amazon has made me hesitant. Please report back after you get it, I trust the Peas recommendations.

My Dh is so not an infomercial watcher but I've caught him watching this a few times. The QVC deal might make a great, unexpected gag gift.

Back to to the topic...my dh, the weekday family cook, wants this and had he not spent eleventy bazillion dollars, give or take, on tools and stuff for his garage I'd buy it. Something tells me we can live without it for now.

The QVC deal might make a great, unexpected gag gift. I'm mock-shocked, I tell ya! If the pan works anywhere near I think it will - based on the skillet (of a similar but different brand) that I already have and use on a daily basis - the gag would totally be on you. anxiousmom - I have an entire house I need to pack up. There are kitchen things from 3 different kitchens I'll have to go through. And I am a good 11 hours away from all of it and using a kitchen that has basically nothing. I've had to buy a few things and one of the things was the (different brand) skillet that I saw while buying groceries at WalMart. It has come as such an unexpected joy to use! And then I saw the commercial for something similar in a square pan about the time I saw my son try to cook steak on HOT heat in a tiny T-fal type pan... it gives me the heebegeebees just to think about T-fal getting that hot... and I started looking at WalMart to see if they'd start carrying that too. Imagine how excited I was to see this at QVC as a special today! And it looks like it's better than the one I first saw! So, yeah. This is my reality. I'm buying for a new household when I have a ton of stuff across the state I still need to get rid of. I'm trying to make everything new count as something important that will be kept even when the older things are added in. This and the instant pot qualify.

I have been really wanting that but the reviews on Amazon has made me hesitant. Please report back after you get it, I trust the Peas recommendations. I actually checked out YouTube videos before I ordered. I think that there may be a slight heat-distribution problem possible in the bottom that makes it not perfectly even with possible slight sticking problems. That's what I've already experienced with the skillet (of a different brand) that I already have and love. That's something I'm expecting as a real possibility. I don't trust extreme reviews on Amazon, especially when there are really good reviews elsewhere which include YouTube videos of people actually using a product.

Honestly, I am at the point that I seriously wish I was 11 hours away. Then I could pretend that I don't have to deal with all the packing. So. Much. Stuff. It is shameful. (and I actually have to find a new place to move all this shit to. OMG.)

I have been eyeing that pan for months. Every time I get ready to hit the "buy" button, I read reviews that say the copper coloring flakes off and other problems, including the non-stick finish not working after a short period of time. Let me know what you think of it because I'm itching to get it.

I have this brand in 2 smaller pans and I HATE them. They really should have been returned. Everything sticks and the clean up is a total pain in the ass! My pans have brown stains I honestly cannot get off.

My pans have brown stains I honestly cannot get off. Well that sucks. Today's purchase is on QVC's extended return policy. Believe me, I've returned PLENTY over the years, and it's as good a policy as anywhere, so it's the perfect place for me to check it out.

My pans have brown stains I honestly cannot get off. This is what the reviews say about them. To be fair, there are good reviews as well. I'm not expecting a miracle and unless the pan is a complete fail, I'm hoping it will meet our needs just fine. Eyes wide open here. One thing is for absolute certain. It's going to be a whole lot better than what my boy has now!
