Updated. This isn't really scrapbook related but I had to add this update cuz I'm just so proud of DD. She just got a full time contract for the rest of this school year! With a little luck (and hard work) maybe they will keep her come September too. Loving everyone's pages! Here is my attempt. The photos weren't of the best quality but the story had to be told! LOL! I was just happy she humoured me and let me take the second photo (even though I was half asleep when I took it and she was in a rush!). The piece I have covered up beside the Live the Life tag is her actual business card that I included on the page...it has another owl on it  Thanks for the great sketch KikiPea. I really like the two pager as well. It might make a good 2016 in review page so I might have to gather some photos up and give that one a try as well. Attachments:

This IS a great story, nitad! The 2 photos are awesome: same place, same pose, even the same expression! I love the colours and the owl, and how you used the banner piece. Awesome page! |

I love the two page sketch, but didn't we already have that one a few months ago? (or maybe I just found it on my own, but I know I used that sketch for my Thanksgiving
layout this year)

mikklynn and grammadee thanks so much for those nice comments! I don't have any scrappy friends here to share with (of course I make my family look at them all LOL!) so it's really nice when someone who actually scraps acknowledges your efforts!

Left you some love in the Gallery, DawnMcD . I love how you used all those photos on a 2 page spread, but the page design, the colour choices and the hits of black really keep the story flowing. TFS. Every time I look at this I see another fun element. Love the banners, too. May have to lift this one... |

Yay! I made it in just under the wire LOL! Here is my take on the 2 pager...I pretty much followed it exactly. If I do say so myself I was very happy with my title! We always get rain when we camp so it was a nice change to "go tarpless" this year.  Attachments:

Love how this turned out, nitad! LOVE your title! That and your deep blue photos and bright backgrounds make this 2 pager fresh, even if it IS an exact copy of the sketch (and hey--that is what a sketch is for: to follow it!) |
