Don't know if this helps, but I hope so:

It is really deserving of fear. The man disgusts me. It is rather strange that he has appointed the cabinet he has appointed. Rather bizarre. They are almost all opposed to the business that they were assigned to do. I think his supporters will wake up very soon, but of course it's too late to get him out of office unless he's impeached. that is a possibility.

I am very, very anxious. As Palestinians, my family has been watching the news closely. When Trump appointed Friedman as the Ambassador to Israel and is already talking about moving the embassy to Jerusalem before he is even in office is....I don't have words. This is a HUGE flashpoint! Friedman himself is embroiled in the settlement building that already violates international law, which that is beside the point now. But WHY stir shit up before even getting into office? ? For the fun of it?!?!?!?! I have family in Gaza, I have dear friends in West Bank. I am terrified of what is going to happen. Talk about no hope for peace. With the hardliners moving into position, of course the hardliners (that I do not align with) on the Palestinian side are going to start up and so many innocent people are going to get caught in the middle. And don't for one second think that what has happened in Syria is going to go away. First, whatever Russia's end game is quite frightens me. DH commented the other day about how many people have been recruited to ISIS over Syria. And all of this, "you killed my family so I am going to kill yours" bullshit seems to keep on continuing. What is happening in the world is so tenuous right now and it takes a steady, diplomatic hand. Trump is most certainly not that. Our only caveat is that we aren't in the States right now. As Muslim Americans, sadly, we are some what relieved.

I am terrified. The cabinet picks are mortifying. I don't see this going well for the middle class. The tweets give me nightmares. Restarting the arms race - not a place I want us to be. I live in a military town and we will be a primary target so I guess the bright side is that we will die quickly?

And now North Korea is banking on Trumpster to be erratic, new territory inexperienced and is accelerating their nuclear weapons.

Not in the least. For me, the nightmare is coming to an end. What nightmare would that be, ~Lauren~? A full economic recovery, an expansion of rights for millions of gay and lesbian people, legalization of marijuana in several states, no wars started and an educated president with a wonderful family? Is that your idea of a nightmare?

Hmmm, lets see, the double digit increase of health insurance, together with massive increases in deductibles; Benghazi; the Boston Marathon Bombing; the IRS improper investigation and denial of conservative group status, a president who is anti-Semetic; the worst race-relations in this country in the last 50 years......
I could go on and on. No wars? Obama has done everything he can to convince the world he's a weenie. Remember his various "lines in the sand"?
Anyway, you are free to believe whatever you like about the out-going President. In my opinion, we are well rid of him. At this stage of the game, he's gone in about 3 weeks so don't expect me to get into a pissing match with you about him.

The increase in health insurance premiums has to do with the greediness of the companies, not Obama. Benghazi, really? Obama is antisemitic? That's absurd. The IRS investigation came up with nothing, just like the obscenely expensive Benghazi nonsense. You seem to have a problem separating your opinions from the facts, ~Lauren~ . I guess that makes you a typical Trump voter. If you think the past eight years were bad, wait until you see the next four.

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen has admitted that they targeted Right leaning organizations.

Not in the least. For me, the nightmare is coming to an end. same here. but there's 2 more weeks in which he can do more terrible damage to our country.
I'm planning a party for the 20th. all day and evening long, a party of 1 - me. (maybe 2 with the dog)
snacks galore and take out for meals. and chocolate.
maybe a party of 2.5. me, the dog and my sister by email.
if I didn't object to fireworks, I'd buy some and set 'em off.

you bet he is. He's shown it over and over again.
IRS - and they're still at it - for 2 more weeks
yep, dbo has set our country up for a very bad time ahead of us. It'll take a very tuff team in the lead to hold it steady. that's Trump and Pence. when things get worse, I don't think they'll be golfing.

No when things get worse he will be off sexually assaulting women or working on his business ventures.

With republicans repealing the ACA---ironic that their healthcare is paid for by taxpayers and they will keep their insurance--for life.

No when things get worse he will be off sexually assaulting women or working on his business ventures. He'll be gathering information and changing laws during his tenure to further himself after. That's the only reason he ran. When he said "drain the swamp" he meant destroy everything that this country has known.

and who was it that organized and paid people to actually cause trouble at Trump rallies? the dems...
much of that has happened by the dems... those the left here supports. This too, is what came from dems... like Emanuel in Chicago - who thought he could ban CFA from there and DeBlasio in NY saying he'd do the same. I've heard a number of holocaust survivors saying they were seeing it all again - happening here. that was long before Trump was a candidate. They weren't talking about conservatives...they were talking about the left and their take over of our schools, government etc.
That's hilarious considering liberals support equal rights for all people. It's the GOP that supports banning Muslims, wants to build a wall, wants to destroy the ACA. You're so funny. Why do you think so many of us are anti-Twitler? I can think of a lot of people whom the liberals don't give a damn about *their* rights.

With republicans repealing the ACA---ironic that their healthcare is paid for by taxpayers and they will keep their insurance--for life. Well, yes, but that's always been the case. Legislators have a very lucrative benefits package, and always have - no matter what party has been in office. They've never been subject to health care instability. And THAT RIGHT THERE should let the general public know that their legislators are so NOT representing them. One example of many. SaveSave
