ACOT has this new tool from We R on pre order. I already use my straight plastic ruler to line up thickers for a straight line, but love the idea of the wave guides. I also really like that it comes with a storage pouch. Just not sure how much I'd use it, but I still want one, lol.

Ohhh I love the idea of this tool, I don't think I will be buying one as I am a notorious tight wad and I can already think of a few ways I can make a diy version of this but the concept is great.

I have what I think is a similar tool from creative memories. Yes, me too! And it came with two little plastic clips to secure it to your page while you were working.

If someone gave it to me, I would probably use it. But I doubt I would buy it myself unless it was dirt cheap.

My sentiments exactly! I have a number of tools for cutting curvy lines. Might just use one or more to make me some templates!

I don't think I'd buy it. It would just be another piece of plastic cluttering my small space.
When I want to place a sticker title around a curve, I just place a bowl down on my layout, and work around it.

I just use a thin ruler for straight lines and a bowl for curves.

I will probably get it, but I might try some of the other ideas here first and see if they work. Thank you ladies.

That's not something I would use. But I really love how WRMK is so innovative with their tools. They are always coming up with something new.

I have what I think is a similar tool from creative memories. Yeah I've got an old version of this from CM I inherited from my Mum.

So...what was the CM tool called?
I was debating over ordering it. I have a few pieces of those EZ Mount storage pages that I've cut into shapes that work for me, really, but I may get them. I like that they're transparent, and something about that grid appeals to my OCD and makes me happy.

A quick trip down to my craft space and I have the answer! The CM version was called "Titletopia". I have two different shapes/versions... not sure how many different ones there were (but let's be honest, I probably bought all of them so most likely just the two). The copyright date on the package was 2004. Funny how I can immediately put my hands on those, but yet had to tear apart the place last night to find a stamp set I just got last month!

I'm a sucker for tools and I have all the Cinch machines and lots of the punch boards from WRMK but I will pass on this. I've never had a problem eyeballing a wave pattern for letters so I can probably live without this one. WRMK actually has another punch board coming out that I thought was interesting. I can't remember what it was but it was interesting.

Can you use thin plastic in the Cameo, Cricut or Scan N Cut and make your own in as many shapes as you want?

Thanks, that helped a ton. Google shows Ovals and Swirls, and some with circles and a wave. Might have to go hunt those down on Ebay, see what they run! scrapaddict702I would think you could use the Cameo Stencil material, or waste laminate from a print shop (their laminating machines use giant spools, and when the do a small page, they have tons of waste. I was going to call mine and ask them to save me some to play with. That would be completely clear, so better to position with.

At first I thought "No, I can do that myself." However I went to the ACOT site and saw that they are not really all that expensive and would probably be more accurate and last longer than any DIY option I would make. Plus, the pouch will fit in a 3 ring binder which would make storage easy peasy.
If it comes to a store near me I just might consider it. I had to pay exchange and shipping on top of things if I can get it at a local LSS. I'm lucky enough to have a few in my area so I will keep an eye out in the New Year - even though I am not supposed to be spending then!! LOL!

I use my old Bo Bunny flexible ruler for this. Wow, I used to have one of those, or something very similar. I probably used it once. Years later I came across it in my stash and it took me a while to remember what it was. I really had no idea. Sad when that happens. As you can probably guess it ended up in the purge pile.

I don't curve my titles, unless it's around a circle, so I don't need it. I also, very rarely use a ruler for straight titles.
