Did anyone else read Palm Trees in the Snow? It was long -- 600+ pages of historical romantic saga. The history was very interesting to me, as I knew nothing of that place and time. Also, parts of it were hard to read, because of what was going on in that place and time. I really enjoyed the book, but find myself conflicted over two of the main characters. I guess they each did what they felt they had to do at the time, but I wish it had turned out differently. Would love to hear other opinions if anyone else read it.
