I received my first EC LP and I really like it. Granted its only been a day but I feel the layout is very well designed. If you've had yours for awhile any tips you have learned? Here's a link to see the planner & what I wrote about it. **UPDATE**: I had some requests from friends & customers to give them an update on my thoughts about my EC LP. I've been using it for a month now & I uploaded a YT video today. Thought y'all who might be interested would want to see how I use it and my overall thoughts. You can click on my link in the signature which will take you to my blog.

I bought one in June for the 1st time. So far I'm really enjoying it. I mainly use the morning/day/night section to record my food intake for the day. I keep large lined post-its on the inside cover to jot down grocery items I need. Otherwise I pretty much use the planner as intended.

I had one several years ago that I liked, but a lot of the little extras that I thought I'd use (the calendar stickers, the clear pouch, etc) were very seldom used. When I get busy I tend to stick with the basics and not worry about making it look pretty or whatever. As long as there's a pen and a monthly calendar, I'm good to go.
I should probably also mention that I had a coupon when I bought my EC planner, so I paid way less than full price. Now that she's become so popular, those coupons are pretty much non-existent. Bummer.

I enjoy looking at other EC LP's to see how they're decorated but I'm like you, my.unquiet.time, I don't have time for all of that. I'm using mine as a business & personal planner.
I had a $10 off coupon which helped pay for faster shipping. I also received a $15 off coupon in my box which was a nice surprise.
If anyone is interested in the same $10 off coupon there's a link to EC's website on my blog. Link in signature.

I have used one for two years, and I am getting ready to buy my 3rd. I love them. I don't carry mine around so the size has never bothered me. I was looking yesterday at what new design to get for 2015. I hope to order it soon.

I was looking yesterday at what new design to get for 2015. I hope to order it soon. I've read reviews and have noticed the size has been a common reason why some users have decided to move on from these planners. I haven't found this planner to be any larger than others I've used in the past. My Franklin Covey was bulkier than this one because it was in a 3 ring leather binder. The size, in my opinion, is perfect and I love how it lays flat. I'm left handed and planners that are housed in a binder are a pain because the rings get in the way of me writing.

Didn't want to be a conformist??? Hahaha!! I chose the Candy Lace-Mocha Multi and it is beautiful! The reason I said I wouldn't order is because their customer service is somewhat lacking (I'm a biiiig stickler on good customer service!). However, I really wanted one so I decided to take the risk. Another thing that irritates me about Erin Condren planners is that you aren't able to see a proof of your cover (unless you pay extra and then wait an additional amount of time). I think it's silly that their webpage doesn't allow for that. And truth be told, I was specific about how I wanted my name printed on my cover and the font size is really smaller than I would have liked it to be. But it's something I can live with. IMO, an ability to create your planner and visibly see it before printing should be included in the cost. Cuz' we all know that it ain't cheap! That being said, if you are going to make the jump and want a referral code for $10 off (I will also get $10 credit), here is link: Get $10 off Erin Condren If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

I am on my 2nd one. I love it. I do use the birthday stickers. I also order the notebooks and I use them for everything: grocery list, camping list, doodling, etc.! I really like EC planners better than anything I've ever used. I was a Franklin Covey or Daytimer girl for a long time...but EC is much better for me.

i just ordered my third this week. I carry mine with me every day and don't think it's too big at all. I had used a moleskine calendar a couple of years ago because the cost of the EC was so much. the only think I didn't like about the moleskine was that it didn't have a two page monthly spread, at least the one I had didn't. I use the extra column on the monthly pages for bill tracking. I use the bottom area for menu planning and exercising. I use washi tape with no particular color coding to mark off football practice or vacations so I didn't order any special stickers. I keep prescriptions and other documents and stamps in the pockets and I keep store coupons (20% off bath and body works!!) in the pouch because otherwise I'd never have them when I need them!
I ordered the (espana) cover with blue/green chevron tiles. my 2014 has the espana cover that looks like watercolor tiles in greens/blues/gold. I just love it.
I have a green pen that I use to mark what I have photos for, so when I go back to do project life I can check for photos. I'm so behind.
I will NEVER go digital!

I have tried to go digital but I just can't. I LOVE my paper, pens, and pencils too much. My eyes get tired of the digi stuff too fast.

I used one for 2 years. But the size of it was too unmanageable to carry around all the time. I switched to a FiloFax that is smaller and easier to carry around. I tried to go digital but between 2 jobs and all DH’s doctors’ appointments it was too hard to manage digitally, much easier on paper for me.

I'm on my second one and I love it!! Sometimes I decorate, sometimes not. It had plenty of space for me and I love how it's laid out. I don't use the morning day or night sections as such but I also don't feel the need to cover them up. Morning is my full time job, day is my part time job, and night is anything else. If I'm off from both jobs I just start making checklists of daily to-dos. If anyone wants a $10 off coupon you can use my link, www.erincondren.com/referral/invite/audreyjones I'll remove it if someone uses it so others can share their code too

If I have an appointment I'll use the sections for said appointment. If no appointment for the day I just write all of my "To-Do's" on that day's column. I was a little nervous about how my cover was going to turn out because I asked for one letter to be capitalized, www.iStampin.com. In the example on her website, it showed all the letters in lower case but I was extremely happy when it turned out they way I asked for.

I liked the notebook style for work. I would use the two page calendar to keep track of my meetings and the notes pages to take notes during the meetings so I always had everything with me. This year the notebook was changed to a removable calendar. I didn't wan that, so I made my own. I bought a cute two page calendar on etsy, made myself a notes page...printed it the way I wanted it, laminated my covers and used my bind it all to bind it.
It's like the "old" notebook style. I wish they wouldn't have made the calendar removable (or had two style notebooks) but since Erin didn't ask me, I had to go with the flow and make my own.
I use digital for home, because we sync our iCloud altogether, but I like the paper for work.

Are you talking about what EC now calls the "perpetual calendar & contacts" as the removable calendar? Each month still has the 2 page spread before the week's calendar.

Sort of. Before the calendar was attached with the lined pages. For a limited time when they debuted the new notebooks it came with the separate calendar as a bonus "while supplies last". Adding the two page ATTACHED calendar is no longer standard (as it was in the past) or as an option for the notebook.

Oh no! That's what I use too. Mine is good until January, hopefully they will change back. I'm on my fourth one.

love mine. I have used them for three years. 2015 will be my fourth. The first two years I got the same style as MissAng, but this year I got a different one and next year I am going back to that style. I just really like it. The EC planners are colorful and that is what I like best about them.

While it's not perfect, the EC is the best planner I can find for me. My favorite cover design is the fleur feliz. Last year I had a turquoise backgroud and this year it's black. IMO, their customer service is great. The spiral part of my planner this year had a weird texture to it that made the pages "grab" when they turned. I emailed photographs about the problem and they sent me a new planner that was perfect. I will be ordering one for 2015 before the end of the year. I'm eager to try the repositionable stickers because I hate the ones they currently have. If you need to remove one, your page rips.

I'm a 1st time user of the life planner. I've been using mine since July 1st and really love it. I was always worried about the size being a little bit too big, but so far so good. I don't always carry it in my purse though. I like to use the morning/day/night pages to record my food journal and when I exercise. I plan on ordering more printed stickers as those are really fun to use.
