I just ordered my first LP last week and I'm excited! Not loving the long wait but it's giving me a lot of time to browse Pinterest and Etsy for ideas.

I think I checked multiple times a week to see where my planner status was. It didn't change until a day or two before it was expected to ship. So if your status doesn't change either, I guess that's normal. Which cover did you choose?

I was really impressed with these, but really can't pay the price for one. So I got a cheapo planner and some stickers and some washi tape and have been having a ball with it!!! I use it for journaling, writing reminders, all kinds of things.

I think that's a responsible solution, scrapaddie. Great way to still have fun w/ a daily planner. I've seen some ladies selling their planners on FB. Look up Erin Condren fan groups & you may find one super cheap. Some people just don't care for it & are willing to get whatever they can for planner.

I don't need one at all. That doesn't stop me from lusting after one though. changed my mind. I saw one in the flesh a few days ago. They aren't that common in the UK. I'll be honest, I was underwhelmed and disappointed. I thought it was massively over priced. I much prefer the ~ personal-planner.co.uk ~ range.

I chose fleur felize in gray/pool - I thought about custom colors but it was way too overwhelming and that is a favorite color combo of mine. :-)

Personally, I'd be leery to do a custom color cover since no proofing is available. I've seen some comments on a FB fan page for ECLP & clients haven't been happy w/ their custom covers.

I'm wondering if they might work with my spiral cheapo book. Thanks Kara for the video update!

I've been thinking about buying one. I'm opening up a business in March and I need something to keep business and home organized and I don't do digital for calendars. Do these work well for juggling two different types of schedules?

I ordered my second Erin Condren Life Planner last week. I am obsessively compulsively checking the status regularly. I cannot wait for it to get here. I put off ordering one and looked and looked for something I would like as much at a lower price and didn't find anything that I thought would fit the bill. This is my second EC LP - my first was two years ago. I had an unpleasant customer service experience that time trying to use a gift card and that's why I used something else last year. But other than the size of the cheap planner I have been using (from one of the office supply stores) I don't love it like I love the Life Planners.
There are lots of videos on youtube that I've enjoyed watching - but I think it is making my wait even more unbearable.

I may need to try that for 2016. My EC 2015 shipped yesterday so no turning back now.

Do these work well for juggling two different types of schedules? Yes, this is how I use mine. On my video I explain how I write down what I need to do each day. I don't separate the tasks - I just put down what tasks I need to accomplish during the day. I have seen how some people will change the sections to "home", "work", "kids" for example. In all of the videos I've watched how other people use their EC LP's I can say the planner seems versatile. It can work however you need it to work.

I think they're larger just to make it easier to remove w/o tearing the paper that you've attached the clip to. Does that make sense? If it helps the clips attach w/ 2 coils in between each "tooth". I can take a picture if you need a visual.
