yeah here is my biggie from last year.. I totally screwed up on our taxes!! I didn't get my W2 entered correctly somehow and it didn't 'take' on Turbo Tax and I MISSED it.. we got a NICE refund which was for me to buy a nice used car. I was so excited about the amount of the refund I guess and didn't catch what happened. I reviewed it a few times as well. Our income has been so up and down the last few years that it just didn't register that our income was so low. Yeah the IRS sent me a nice notice of my $3,000 mistake. Now I am on a nice payment plan and no refunds probably for the next two years. Then the State return was also wrong.. another payment plan. DH was not thrilled but at least understanding.

Oh man that sucks!
My husband to pay his credit card once and it was $200. He pays it off every month on time for $15 years and boy was he pissed at himself that.
I hope you feel better soon.

I rented a Vitrectomy chair (like a massage chair) on a Tuesday for my mom to use after her eye surgery at $198 per week. I returned it the following Tuesday and paid the $198.... yesterday in the mail I got a bill for $198. Thinking that it was just a simple error on their part, I called today just to be told that I was suppose to return the chair on Monday, not Tuesday, so I owe for the second week. I realize now that I should have realized that a week was 7 days, and not Tuesday-Tuesday (which would be 8 days) but sheesh, another $198 for one extra day? I am awaiting a call from the manager.... I may need to grovel...

Yay I'm glad you got it sorted.
I dropped £50 out of my pocket, right outside my front door. I keep telling myself that the person who picked it up must have needed it, but so did I!!

I pushed the garage door button and backed out of the garage. However......the garage door was not up. New garage door and significant repair to the back of my car. DH just shook his head and said "oh well. Shit happens". Love that he is so understanding.
