I just got a 60% off one item coupon in my email from Michael's! It's good today only and excludes the usual things. So, if you could have 60% off of one thing, what would it be? I was planning on getting an art journal, so that's probably what I'll use it for, but I'm open to suggestions!

Expensive stamp set.
The problem with their coupons is that they always exclude the really good, expensive stuff, and exclude what is already on sale, which is usually stamps and sometimes dies.

I'm going out later to get the mini lightbox for my classroom. Or possibly a big pack of planner stickers.

I want to try some mixed media journaling, so I bought a small Strathmore Mixed Media spiral bound pad of paper. The coupon made it only $4. A cheap way to play with mixed media and it won't matter if I goof it up.

I was there this morning. I bought a $30 Recollections 3 ring album for $12 something, and since DD was with me I gave her some money and had her buy me some ATG tape. I didn't even look at the fun stuff.

I bought the new Jane Davenport brush markers. Saved $24! I was so excited to see that coupon because I knew exactly what I wanted and was happy to see it still in stock!

I went out with hubby tonight and got my mini light box! Woohoo! My daughter is disappointed it's not for her. "You've already got one at school, Mommy." I do...but not a mini!

I saw that coupon too and couldn't think of a single thing that I could be motivated to leave my house for, even at 60% off. And like others have said, all the good stuff is usually already on sale for 20-25% off or you can't use it on those categories anyway.

Actually not the case at Michael's usually It is Joann's that pulls that crap. I get 3m command strips and fine art supplies when they have the 60% off coupons because the scrapbook section is ALWAYS on sale. M's isn't as tricky.

Yeah, cricut and silhouette are excluded everywhere, but I bought 2 sets of spellbinders dies yesterday. Books are excluded because Michael's doesn't own them...they are a 3rd party item...that vendor even does their own stocking (or at least this was the case 12 years ago when I worked there).

I would buy a newer ATG gun at Michael's. I have a cheapie from Ebay that I bought years ago and mine is shot. You can use coupons on Silhouette and Cricut supplies, just not machines at Hobby Lobby. I bought a blade yesterday with a 40% off. I think the policy is the same with Joann?

I wanted the mermaid markers but both the stores close to me were either sold out or didn't have them yet. (and the Canadian coupon was only 55% off)

Don't think I've ever seen a 60% up here I was thinking the same thing today. my local M's has stopped removing the US price from things too so the comparison is really easy to see.

Sad that there was nothing I wanted or needed, so I bought adhesive. The previous 60% off coupon I used to buy Dr PH Martins Hydrus Watercolor.

I wonder why I don't get the 60 off coupons. I get the weekly ad with the 40 and 50 off coupons. And I'm signed up for the rewards program. Any suggestions?
