We ran some errands, and all of a sudden a craving for tacos from Jack-in-the-Box hit me....have any of you had them? They are so WEIRD  but yummy! NOT like a regular taco at all. DH was looking forward to the chicken tortilla soup I made per his request this morning; so he passed on the mysteriously tasty tacos.  newlywoods03---hope your headache FINALLY went away!  I've had one intermittently for a few days because of the barometric pressure changes of RAIN, and I am soooo tired of it!  |

I just went to the shops and bought some barramundi so we're having fish baked in baking paper, whether the rest of the family like it or not. (In the case of DS and DSO it will probably be the "or not" option so I guess they'll have to have mac & cheese or something.) I will probably do the fish with some kind of Asian flavoring.

We have a rain storm coming on Tuesday (One of three back to back) and I think that may be the culprit. Hope you start feeling better too! |

I made these Thai Sticky Chickens Fingers for dinner, along with a stir fry of broccolini, carrots & bok choy. Everyone liked the chicken but the sauce never thickened up they way I expected. It seemed to take forever to prep everything and my lemon reamer is MIA (needed to juice the lime). The usual suspect when something in the kitchen goes missing is DH and he helped me looked, but we didn't find it. We did find the 1 cup measuring cup in with the pot holders though (not to point fingers, but DH uses it for his oatmeal and it is always being found in weird and wonderful places). |

newlywoods03---Glad it finally went away! Ugh, so you have the barometric-pressure headaches, too ?  DH and I have a joke that I should call our local weather newscasters to let them know it's DEFINITELY going to rain in 1-2 days if I get a sinus headache ----as he says "your head has its own barometer"
