12x12 but I add all different sizes to my albums....some 6x12,8x8,6x6.....like the look of different but coordinating sizes.... I do this. 12x12 albums with layouts of ALL sizes - 6x6, 8x8, 8.5x11 (portrait & landscape), 12x12 (full page & pocket style pages) I do not discriminate on size

I used to do 8.5x11, but switched over to 12x12.

I started off scrapping 12x12 and then switched to 8.5x11 and have been doing that for several years. I've also had a 12x12 album going for a while that I add to occasionally. I'm always surprised by how those 12x12 pages come together so easily for me. Both sizes have pros and cons. 12x12 is great for multi-photo two-page layouts, especially 4x6 photos. However, I don't like it for single photo layouts. I've found that I like 3.5x5 photos for 8.5x11 layouts.

I started with 8.5x11 and switched to 12x12. They work so much better for my style of scrapping.

I started doing 81/2 X 11, then switched to primarily 12 X 12 and now I do both and mix them in my albums.

12 x 12. I never tried 8 1/2 x 11. When I was introduced to scrapping 12 x12 was what was showed to me.
