I buy a mix, but now when I buy a slab, I need to really LOVE a majority of the papers and they need to "feel" like good quality papers. I do frequently buy slabs of textured multi colored cardstock.

I buy single sheets. Majority of the time I'll only like one sheet from a paper stack/pad and the rest are eh. So it's not worth it to me to buy paper stacks/pads.
