So we love Shimelle for stick and go, anyone else we should watch? I need more inspiration.
Anyone with a different more deliberate style we can think of?

I do a bit of both. When I have a clear idea of what I want the page to look like I just cut and stick but if I'm not so sure then I'll cut and lay papers down and move embellishments around until something gels and then I'll stick everything down and finish the page. I use a repositionable adhesive because I am terrible at sticking things down then wishing I'd added other layers further underneath than my adhesive will allow me to squeeze in.

Once in a while I fast forward through her talking at the beginning. Shh, don't tell her! It was mostly her Christmas story telling videos, because she read her journaling and it was long. link

When I'm using a sketch I definitely stick and go. Sometimes it takes longer without a sketch, but I try to not over-think things. Sometimes picking out paper can take a while. I love Shimelle's videos and in one she talked about using the first acceptable thing you find instead of pondering all your options. Really good for hurrying things along.

I fuss fart around too much I like that terminology! I fuss fart at least 90% of my layouts. The other 10% are glue and go. I chalk it up to I'm an introvert. As an introvert I need more time to really commit and think things through. Those 10% layouts are usually ones that I've pre-planned in my head or just really want out of the way.

I have to start with photos and then a sketch. Then I'm a stick and go girl. I am not creative. I scrapbook for the crafty aspect; cutting and gluing things and preserving some memories in the process. Otherwise, I'd be a dilly dally girl and very frustrated because I don't like to take a long time on my pages.

I'm stick and go. I load my pages up with photos and I go really light on product. It makes all my decisions easier and faster.

Oh no...I am definitely a dilly-dallyer, lol. Drives me nuts. I would love to just stick and go but I fuss fart around too much! In my family, we used the term "fiddle fart around". Back to the original question, I'm happiest with the end result when I can just stick and go. The more I play around with a layout, the less I like it. Once it starts going in a bad direction, I seem helpless to bring it back regardless of how much fiddle farting I do to it.

"fiddle fart" and Diddle Dally are common words here too. I just had a fiddle fart issue. I didn't stick and go and ended up hating the end result boo oh well it is done.

I'm most definitely a dilly-dallier. That's one of the reasons that pocket pages work so well for me. The smaller the canvas, the less opportunity to move things around endlessly. When I do non-pocket pages, I prefer 8.5x11 or 8x8 pages for this same reason. 12x12 pages kill me.
