I lost my mom very unexpectdly yesterday *sm update 2/14*

So Monday my dog died. Very early Wed morning i got  a call from my oldest brother saying my mom was in the hospital on life support very brain dead. She had fallen down the stair and literaly smashed her head on the tile. Fortunately she didn't suffer and it was quick but very gruesome for my nephew and my step dad who found her. She was unrevivable. 
  I flew into town within hours as did my other siblings. The shock as still not worn off. Then last night as we're all making plans my sisters dog (the one who helped me with duke the vet tech) she went home to check on her dogs and the one that has had cancer had a grand mal seizure and passed away. We are a big dog family as you can tell. My mom will have loads of dogs to greet as well as family and friends on the other side.
 We have a wake and small service sunday and I'll fly home mon. Unfortunately my husband could not make as logistics with  school and our other dog and timing. The shock is still unreal.
 She was 69.She was surprisingly able to be organ doner only one kidney as she had severe kidney issues. So we were suprised at how much they did get. Unfortunately my nephew won't get her heart (he's on a heart transplant lis)it doesn't work that way.
 Anyway it's been so weird and tragic. But we have our three's as they say. Why is it always three?
