I'm disappointed. This is the third kit in a row that I'm saying no thanks to.

Not a stamp and die I would ever want to use and the whole kit feels skimpy and flat.

Not a stamp and due I would ever want to use and the whole kit feels skimpy and flat. Yes, especially when you look at something like Hampton Arts kit by comparison. Full sets of stamps with dies, plus lots of other goodies, free shipping, and add-ons. None of the extras in this month's SSS kit is anything to get excited about. Add-ons would be so easy for them to include, but they seem to be stuck just doing things the same old way. I often want the dies and other embellishments that go with the kit, but to buy that plus another $7 shipping? Forget it.

I haven't been happy with the kit since last year! I did get the June kit because I like the stamp and was hoping it would help get my mojo back.

I am not getting this one. AND I dropped The Stamps of Life kit. Stamp sets are ALL sentiments, and I don't care for all the embellishments. Trying hero arts next. Oh yea, I have already tried Club Stamp, which I liked, but got tired of having to cut apart and make tacky all the red rubber stamps.

Again, this kit is not for me. That stamp is not something I could ever see myself using. Plus I already have the Oxide ink. I like the Pinkfresh paper and puffy stickers, though.
Here's hoping for some cute fall and holiday kits coming up next time. It seems like the only kits that are really popular with them are the Doodlebug and other "kid critter" kits, but I've had enough of those.
I have a SSS frame die and a couple of other items in my cart that I'll buy instead of the kit.

I like it better than the last three, but not enough to pull the trigger. I think it's the Pink Fresh papers. No likee. I like the puffies and the colors. Wish they had better samples - they all looked a little clunky w/just a Pink Fresh paper w/a saying on a base. I wish they had shown more of the frame and other stamps.

I thought it looked better than the last couple but still nothing that's really wowing me.

Um, nope. I deleted the email immediately - it just didn't look interesting or useful. Now watching the video I'm even more certain it's not my style at all. Making "inspirational" cards is all well and good but I don't actually find them very useful when it comes to choosing a card to send out. The samples on the video did nothing for me.
I wish Vicki P. could get her kit in advance of the release - I'm always curious to see what she manages to do with the product. The last couple of 10 card videos haven't been her usual level of awesome though - even she seems to be struggling with these kits. I kinda felt sorry for her friends after last months stupid bikini theme - I can't imagine sending out so many bikini/beach cards or how I'd feel about getting one. At least there was something graphic to that theme though. This month's kit seems to be all plain words and geometrics. Not for me.

Another kit I'm passing on. I think I've gotten one kit in the last six months or so. I'm just so disappointed, I used to get the kit almost every month.

This is not my favorite kit but better than previous months (anything is better than those bikini stamps and dies to me). Products that they have are actually pretty good for this month but all together they do not coordinate well IMO. I do have those pinkfresh papers and they are gorgeous in person and thick. Their Live more line has a better stamp than what SSS is offering with this kit. They are better off with their cutesy card kits I think. Trying different things is not working out very well for them. They need to do a better job with putting a kit together.

I skipped this one. I already made my holiday cards and the stamps are too Christmasy for me. I’m Jewish. I do make Xmas cards for other people but I like them to be more neutral.

Absolutely too cute and definitely not for me. Whoever designs characters for their stamp sets needs to take a look at non cutesy inspiration. This is the third kit where the stamps completely turned me off because of that kind of design aesthetic.

Doodlebug is growing on me, at least for cards that I donate. Still, there is a matching die set, but you have to purchase it separately if you're a subscriber. So frustrating not to be able to add on.

So frustrating not to be able to add on. I agree with the bolded statement. And I would love it if you could purchase a bundled set of stamp and die at a discount. Instead of $15 for stamp and $20 for die, sell the set for $30 or $32 or whatever. I think some companies do this - Hero Arts, Altenew, The Stamp Market are three that come to mind.

I like the limited Mint holiday card kit.
Wouldn't dare order it though. I doubt I would get it before Christmas w/the way they're shipping.

The March kit is up. I’m really loving this one. Vicki P and Yana S both have good videos making cards for this one. youtu.be/21pyuOXGs_k

I'm such a sucker for being inspired by Vicki P. I almost bought the kit last night because I liked the quick cards that Vicki made, especially the one with the tools coming out of the circle. And looking at the kit, it seems like such good value with two stamps. I made lots of lovely cards with the Kind Flowers one they did which had a similar look.
But then I pulled myself back. I had just spent the day stamping with Waffle Flower enveloper stamps, and man, I love those images. They never fail to make me smile. Looking again at the bunny (yeah, nope) and boot (meh), the gingham and ribbon stamps are cool, and they seem pretty useful (some other people had made nice cards with them) and the splashing duck makes me smile, but I think I need to stick to my style. And I need something with better sentiments that are more like what I send cards for. I'm still a little bit tempted though... Darn, Vicki!
This is why I wasn't so upset that Vicki said she was going to stop the SSS videos. As much as I love watching her card making, she's too good at selling me stuff I don't need.

I love this month's kit. I am so tempted to buy it, but coming off of Christmas I have so much stuff that I haven't used yet - plus I just bought the ScanNCut, so I really shouldn't. That duck is so cute, and not my usual style but I'd like to branch out.
I also really like the stickers and the papers. Vicky P is brilliant, I love what she's done - some of those cards could be made very quickly which is nice once in a while. I'll watch Yana's video next, she's so awesome, I love her stuff, too.

This is the first kit I've bought. I liked having two stamp sets and there was quite a bit I liked across the two sets. There were also several things in the kit I wanted to check out. I've never tried SSS inks, cardstock or envelopes, I've never seen Neenah Desert Storm cardstock in person, and I wanted to try the Tonic Shimmer Pen.
I usually watch the Vicki videos, but they've never convinced me to buy. I'm looking forward to seeing what she does now that I've bought this kit, though.

I really like what Vicky did with the kit. In reality I just can't see myself using it.
Plus, having just come off a frozen January my credit card has been on fire! I need to cool it down with a second half of February cold snap.

I enjoyed Vicky’s video but wasn’t at all tempted by the kit as the stamps didn’t appeal.
