I thought I had tried almost every yogurt out there, including most of the greek ones. I am a texture person, and didn't like the texture of most of them, plus they all seemed to leave an aftertaste.
I think the aftertaste was from the artificial sweeteners in them. I was always trying to get ones that were low cal (thus the artificial sweeteners) and I don't care for plain.
I finally tried the Fage ones. I can't believe I waited so long. The cherry one is yummy!
It does seem to be higher calorie than most, but I don't drink much milk anymore, so I"m ok with that. And it does have actual sugar, but my doctor told me to not be afraid to have actual sugar sometimes (or stevia too) but to stay away from artificial sweeteners. (sadly, no more diet coke)
I tried the strawberry/gogi as well and that was pretty good.
Am I the last one to try this kind?

I like that brand as well..unfortunately I can't do yogurt anymore--I'm lactose intolerant and when I do have something like milk, ice cream, or yogurt....well, let's just say I remember quickly not to try it again. It's no fun. Glad you found one you like!

Fage rules. Chobani tastes like flippin' chalk. I have NEVER understood why it's the most popular selling brand; I believe it's from all their advertising.
Runner up for Fage? Aldi's brand. MMMMMM!

I don't think we have Fage in Canada.

Thanks for posting!!! I too have tried every yogurt and could not find one I could eat. And the Greek ones? The were the worst of all to my mouth's way of thinking I'll have to check out the Fage.

I love plain full fat Greek yoghurt and The Collective passion fruit one. Can't eat the diet ones at all - they're way to sweet and runny and bleurghhhhh

I can only eat the Yoplait Lactose Free, when I can find it! I wish it came in more flavors though.

I hate that so often now manufacturers put "NO SUGAR ADDED' in giant lettering on products that have artificial sweeteners in them, and write the inclusion of the artificial sweetener in the smallest possible letters in the ingredient list. Really Juice is fine without anything added so just don't add anything. GRRRR So you are right that artificial sweetener makes yogurt taste bad.

I was a Fage only gal, until I tried Trader Joes own brand, it's only $1 per cup and oh so good, it doesn't have the gritty greek yogurt texture going on.

I love the Fage Raspberry. One of my coworkers just gets the plain and adds jam to it herself.

I am a huge believer in eating a yogurt a day - not only is it healthy obviously but it really helps keep my weight down.
I eat a Fage 2% plain and I add my own honey. It is soooo creamy and good. I also love to add chopped walnuts. Yum.

Fage is one of my favorites, too. A close second for me is Oikos Banana Cream and Toasted Coconut. I put bananas or fresh peaches on top and Kashi Go Lean Crisp (not crunch.) It's pretty darned awesome. Meijer has Fage on sale this week for $1. Time to stock up!

My Dr says everybody should eat a yougurt every day. I like the Dannon Oikos brand, they have lots of yummy flavors like cafe latte and key lime. A bit high in sugar, but better than the artificial sweeteners. Sometimes I put them in the freezer for about an hour, delicious!

I love Chobani...it has the creamy texture that I look for when it comes to yogurt. I didn't know so many people hated it! I tried Fage once and I didn't like it at all, maybe I just need to try a different flavor. I'm definitely going to try Trader Joes.

I like the plain kind, too. It's a great substitute for sour cream.

Fage is my favorite it's actually the only yogurt I eat anymore. I like the cherry and the mango guanabana the most. I also like the peach but it's hard to find around here. I'll have to try Aldi's.

I don't like yogurt because to me it tastes like sour milk. I hate milk. even the freshest newest gallon of milk smells and tastes sour to me. I just stay away from it. I do like cheese and sour cream.

I buy Fage plain in the huge tubs at Costco. I add my own honey and some type of crunch to it like Grape Nuts or All Bran buds. That's my daily lunch and has been for years. Every time I attempt another brand, I'm disappointed. I tried the flavored type once and just about spit it out. They are sooo sweet! And the runny texture of "normal" yogurt is so gag inducing for me. I need thick with a tang to it. Yes, I know I've got weird tastes. I am also the person who goes to the frozen yogurt places with tons of amazing sounding flavors and only buys the unflavored tart. That with some strawberries on it is my absolute favorite treat. And the additional upside to that is that our yogurt shop is always super crowded. But no one is ever at the unflavored tart spigot. I can get in and out while people that came way before me are still lined up to try some new flavor.

I have tried chobani and I find it too sour. I like the flavors of Yoplait original, but it's too runny. The low fat has an aftertaste from the sweeteners I'd guess. I'm diabetic so I want low carb, but can't find it anywhere except for Smith's Kroger brand low carb yogurt. It's just OK. I have never tried Fage, but I think I will try it. Maybe I can sweeten it up with some stevia.

I have come to LOVE Activia Light Greek. I love the texture and the flavor. I have to watch my carb intake (not diabetic, but status post gastric bypass) and need the extra probiotics in Activia. My favorite of all time though is Oikos Banana Creme. It is HEAVEN to me!

I thought I might be the only one who only liked Fage. I will pay more for it because I'll actually eat it - any other yogurt just sits until it expires. I don't mind the Fruyo, by Fage, but the Fage with the little fruit sidecar is my favorite. It feels like a dessert treat in the morning.
So glad I've found my Fage people.
