Updated to add finished layout (with faces blurred to protect the innocent). Basic banner did the trick and saved the day! Thanks again for the idea, infochick. It was very satisfying laying adhesive over the faces of the kids in the backseat Original Post: Okay, first, I have a vertical 6x8 souvenir photo of DH and DD in the front seat of a roller coaster, and I want to hide the 2 really distracting kids in the seat behind them. It would take about a one inch strip of something to hide them, but it can't be a title. The two part name of the coaster is at the top and bottom of the photo, so adding more words would make it a little too confusing. I thought about drawing some cartoon tracks, but I'm not crazy about it. Can y'all come up with a better idea? I don't have a die cut machine. Secondly, I'm in need of a short Hollywood related title, but I don't want to use "Hooray for Hollywood." Can you think of another? Thanks Peas!

Emoji stickers over the distracting kids faces?

When in doubt, I add a banner. Could you layer a couple strips of paper across the photo with the decorative notches cut out of one end? Or maybe a wide strip of ribbon across the photo?
Sorry, no suggestion for the title...

Sorry, no suggestion for the title... A banner might work ... hmm. I hadn't thought of that, but yes it's certainly in keeping with the theme! Thanks

The banner AND emoji stickers?
For Hollywood: "On with the SHOW!"? like the song title. is that the song title, or just a line in it?

Hip for Hollywood just the word Hollywood, with stars in place of the o's Hey Hey Hollywood We're going Hollywood We were here (insert arrow) Hollywood Hollywood - Tinsel Town Gone Hollywood Hollywood Days Hollywood Nights

I forgot about Tinsel Town. That would work. Thanks maribeth !

What about the strip or banner but made out of vellum. So it obscures the distracting people but also allows for the rest of the photo to have some continuity. Or cut a 6X8 pice of vellum and cut a window either circle or square that highlights the area you want to focus on

I would put a mini frame over my two and the frame would block the people behind.

I want to hide the 2 really distracting kids in the seat behind them. No chance of photoshopping it to edit them out? I would want to cut and paste an image of an empty seat or the sky or whatever you would have seen without their heads there. I also like the vellum idea.

I would probably use a small tag or journal box to hide the unwanted faces, or some other decorative element that adds rather than detracts from the photo (if I can find one).

msliz is there anyway for you to share the LO you have thus far with the photo to give us a better idea? I've decided I'm going to go with the banner suggestion. I've added the photo to the stack I'm going to scrap for Calvinball next month, and I'll post it for y'all when the layout is made. Thanks Peas for all your help!

Thanks, but sadly that won't work because it would cover up the first part of the coaster's name at the top of the photo. It'll make sense later when I post the finished layout. But the banner idea is going to work. I cut out the little triangles for it tonight.
