Wooooohooooooooooo!!! I'm actually EARLY this month! LOL Man, oh man, this year just keeps trucking along. Welcome to monthly Sketch/Scraplift challenge! Each month, I will post both a sketch, and a LO for you to lift, or draw inspiration. I'll be including something for both 1 page scrappers, as well as 2 page scrappers, and some of the LO's can be modified to fit either one. I like seeing the creativity of changing them up! I think it will be fun to see what you pick, or if you decide to do both! Here we go! As you know, in scraplifting/using sketches, your LO's can end up looking exactly like the inspiration piece, or you can let your creativity run wild! These are just jumping off points to get you rolling. Have fun, and link your LO's back to this thread so that we can all see your piece of art and give you some lovin'! admin, please add to the master list. Thank you!

Thanks, KikiPea. With so many of us racing to finish pages in Calvinball, we can use any inspiration you can give us! And I can see using both of these jumping off points at least once. Great selections!

I really have found myself loving sketches and scrap lifts recently. The layout is calling to me , but that sketch is so useable too. May just do both!

Finished mine early this month! Yay!!! This one was very loosely inspired by the LO. I may do another one, and see if I can get it a little closer, but I REALLY just wanted to scrap these pics! LOL

Would it be okay to scraplift one side of the two pager? I think I have great photos for it and I think the right side of the sketch is perfect for them!

KikiPea I promise I started with the gorgeous one page in front of me. I am not sure how it went so far off course but I love how this turned out. I did some layering, some stamping, some inking/misting some coloring of the chipboard stars and arrows, some doodling, punching and fussy cutting. All the items are from my bash kit so woohooo on that too!

I made a 2 pager out of the single page sketch. I couldn't bring myself to add more flowers to the page with embellishments, so I left it simple. It's busy enough already. Thanks for the inspiration KikiPea !

crystalb, I like how you have most of your image off center in the 8.5x11. I struggle a lot for how to use my pages when I don't have enough photos to plaster across them. I'd like to scraplift this page sometime!

KikiPea I love how you used the kraft base to highlight the floral papers. What a pretty layout! On your single page layout, did you use vellum to cut the "I AM" letters? I really like how that looks. grammadee I use gears on pages, but I have never layered a bunch like you did. I'll be stealing that idea very soon! crystalb I love your STEM girl Great job on the layout. msliz You did a great job getting 8 photos on your layout. It's not easy to do without losing focus on the photos. I like simple pages, too. I think the variety of simple and not so simple makes the album more interesting.

dasmith2 I love your page, especially the embellishment you created in the upper right. I could NEVER feed a seagull from my hand though! Shudder...

My layout looks very little like the inspiration layout, but I was happy to find a way to use the busy paper that has been in my stash for a while: 2017 March Scraplift Challenge by Mikk Lynn, on Flickr
