I think I already posted my shower habits early on in this thread (wash cloth) but I had to add that a few years ago, my gynecologist told me that the genital area was self-cleaning and didn't need any soap. I was all um, no thanks. I can't imagine not using soap -ymmv. I'm sensitive to many soaps and used to get frequent yeast infections until I realized I could not use deodorant soaps. Now I use Dove bar soap or shower gel or Neutrogena Rainbath shower gel and don't have any issues.

Well, after reading this entire thread, think I will stay with Ivory bar soap and a wash cloth for those delicate areas. Has worked for 65 years so won't be changing any time soon.
But this thread just confirms the fact that I can always count on the Peas to produce beverage-spewing answers to just about any question! Gosh, what a wealth of information we have here!!!!!

I've posted that I use a white wash cloth every time. Not the same one, ha. Plus my own weirdness, I scrub my pits with 3 or 4 different deordorant soaps. I also sometimes wash my chest , tummy area with Caress and when I do, people say they can smell it and that it smells very nice. Just adding that suggestion out there.

myshelly - have you seen Amy Schumers leather special? She's also a fan of the shower head cleansing method!

I've found that baby shampoo (usually J&J just because that's what I always grab) or cetaphil are pretty gentle down there. Baby shampoo is scented though. I might look for an unscented variety next time. Nowadays there are so many brands that surely someone is making unscented baby shampoo.

Anyone else hoping sanctimommy would've replied to this thread !??! I wonder if she'll ever post again----ohhh, I MISS her posts !! We called her her out the last time there was something that would pertain to her and she ignored us. I mean we were IGNORED!!! She could have taken a lot out on us and had us in stitches. Instead we were ignored. (Several of us on the thread asked her to join in and thus the ignored emphasis...) Oh, I'm sorry, I was busy nuturing. I just don't seem to have the time to be on the board all the time, like many of you lucky ladies. The littles just grow so fast, and I just take my mommy responsibilities a little more seriously than some. It's just my cross to bear I guess. You do you though. And I'm sorry, but this is just silly. Of course, we don't need to use washcloths in our abode. We are on gluten free, organic, paleo, dairy free, grain free, GMO and preservative free cleansing diets, so our bodies only exert natural and untainted pheromones. Plus, twice a week we all conduct essential oil colon cleansing enemas to maintain homeostasis and wellbeing.

Happy to see this back on the first page! LOL! And Sanctimommy joined in! Yay! I wonder if anyone else saw the meme on Facebook about penis-shaped soaps?! I saw it and immediately thought of the Peas and this thread! I'd post a photo of it, but don't want to cause the fainting of anyone!
