Haha I just posted on another thread about my experience. I didn't even see this thread. Let me go back and paste it here!
My post:
one night when my husband was working 3rd shift he came home for his lunch break and there I was drinking margaritas and listening to disco music (which was before my time) all while scrapbooking. He said I had every light on in house and it was like he walked in Saturday Night Fever. I don't remember much of that night lol but I have one of the best scrapbook layouts I have EVER made as a result.
Oh and that was the first and last time that ever happened lol!

Only once, before I had kids. It made me very sad, because I started wondering why I was doing any of this. I'm very glad I was able to push those thoughts aside once I sobered up. I enjoy looking through those old albums. LOL...when I had posted last night, I had two glasses of wine under my belt and was thinking about working on a project. Instead I worked on tidying my craft room and putting together some page kits (I should go back and see what I managed to "match" ). But then I got sad about how much crap I had collected that would probably never be used and what a waste of money it was...and why am I doing this anyways. Soooo...yeah...no drinking and scrapping for me.

No, but I do not drink, however I have scrapped sleep deprived and it was pretty bad! Had to redo the LO at a later date.

I have. Once a year I go on a 4 day retreat with my girlies. We drink, and I drink way more than I would at home. However, I am serious about my scrapping and the last thing I want on my getaway is to be hungover so I am careful. All that said, I did scrap once drunk while on such a retreat. It happened to fall on my birthday and when our waiter found out, he presented me with champagne. I love champagne, but it went right to my head and after I drank it, I went right back to scrapping, as silly as could be. I made a great page, it was just my typing that went awry. I decided to keep it as is and add a little hidden journaling explaining the whole thing.

Nope, but I have done the scrap and sip like twice. Wine only, as all cold drinks get warm while I'm happily scrapping away. And only 2 times because I generally won't open a bottle of wine without a good dinner and my hubby.

Put me in the camp that have scrapped buzzed! I did pretty good too! I found that I was more laid back and creative. Maybe I need to always have a couple drinks before I go down in my scrapbook room! Lol

I have not sat and scrapped at night but in the past I have enjoyed scrapping on a weekend with a glass of wine. I only tend to do this when Gary off shore, and it is relaxing for sure. I must do this again soon

Well, I've never been drunk, so that would be a "no".

Should we do an online Scrap and Sip? I would host it...but I think I would have to wait until August (all my weekends in July are already full of activities)

Another buzzed but not drunk here! But I don't any more, because like many others here, I fall asleep to quick!

No but we went to a weekend crop and stayed up cropping for 27 hours. I stopped journaling after hour 14! The next day, I did find one picture glued upside down.

LOL! I just had to read this! No for me. But some of our gals at crops do get quite loopy after midnight. They are so funny sometimes! We are not as young as we used to be!

Yes! I used to get together with my neighbor girlfriends to scrap, and we'd always go through a couple bottles of wine. The kids were in bed, and none of us had to drive, so why not? Scrapping is always more fun with friends!

I can't do anything after a drink these days, I just get very tired and rather impartial to everything so no sipping and scrapbooking for me.

My DIL & I were "sipping" " some Bailey's concoction while doing our 1st digital layout . We were listening to the tutorial & scrapping My grandson's birthday layout. If the instructor told us to do something , we did it! Embellished the heck out of that layout & have about 5 fonts going on. I printed & kept that layout & get the giggles every time I see it. Oh. my. Good. Lord! I would love to see that layout.

Once. It was funny. I wrote a blog post about it, but I can't figure out how to put the link in. Search Chichilabamba Tipsy and it should come up.

Just this weekend actually! I had to stop scrapping (project life) because I was losing track of what pic went where. I did continue drinking with my DH and we had a lovely evening reminiscing!

I don't drink, but I have been heavily medicated and scrapped quite a few times. I take Lunesta for insomnia. Sometimes I will start my digital projects and forget that I did them till next morning. The other times were after surgery- I was so restless I couldn't do anything but I could scrap so I felt busy. I did okay. I felt more creative. LOL

I've scrapped whilst tipsy and found that I stuck stuff down a lot quicker and was more relaxed, I was still pleased with the results in the morning

Nope. I'm too cheap, one glass of anything makes me tired and I'd rather be the person taking pictures of all the drunk people doing stupid stuff! But my MIL has. I'm sure all the photos she cropped with a scissors LOOKED straight to her at the time!

*hangs head in shame*..."yup" I had a slipped disc and was on Hydrocodone...THEN had a couple glasses of wine. It was actually when I fell into my new way of scrapbooking! So, it turned out well and I won the page contest at the retreat! It was several years ago and I've improved the style, but here is the drunk layout!

um Meowgal, that is your DRUNK layout? Dang! It's gorgeous! While I wish you nothing but good health, drunk scrapping definitely works for you, if you were thinking of a repeat performance! Personally... I'm pretty sure I have scrapped drunk. I guess that says a lot, huh! I've been meeting up with my girls for a 4-day retreat for 9 years, and while we always drink (except any of us who are pregnant, me in 2009) and I'm sure I'm happily buzzed a couple of nights each time, I'm also consciously aware of a weekend or two when we just drank non-stop. On in particular, was rather epic. Like, blenders going, a bar table more cluttered than the cricut table... good times, good times. Although my style has changed a lot since then, I still love the layouts I made that weekend. I couldn't tell you which ones I made under the heaviest "influence" but I've never noticed any glaring "drunk girl scrapped this" signs, like a lopped-off head or mis-naming my kids. All's well that ends up in the scrapbook well!
