Whitney was married January of last year. Lindsay is married too. They're only 23, I would think they wouldn't want to interrupt their career for awhile. Petra is 30 and unmarried, kind of different circumstances. I was surprised Whitney was married in the Salt Lake Temple considering her wardrobe on DWTS. Seems against traditional Mormon dress codes, why do they make an exception for that? Interesting I just came across this quote from Maxsim from last October I was kind of wondering if they did some deal where they let Peta come back if Maks came too. I noticed the first week that Peta was having a bit of a hard time - she was moving slower and at one point she did some sort of kneeling down move and it looked like she had a hard time getting back up. |

My opinions so far this season:
I like Erin. I don't think she's snotty or annoying? I think she's a little awkward but she embraces it.
I was sad for Chris as well, I had no idea he had that injury. He was pretty bad but I actually thought his dance this week was cute. I'm bummed too because Whitney is my favorite female dancer.
Charo NEEDS to go. She is so disrespectful and out of control. It's not funny or entertaining, it's really cringeworthy. The nerve of her, telling Bruno his english sucks.
I think the bull rider is creepy and I hope that Sharna is OK with it. There is nothing like having people shove some guy at you that you don't like, and on top of that she HAS to act like she's interested, it's her job to make him look good. I'm, so far, not convinced she's into this attention.
So far Rashad is my favorite. He is really good and I feel like he's a bit of an underdog, or at least he doesn't get a lot of face time compared to some of the others.
I'm most surprised by the baseball player. He seems so stiff and flat footed when walking around, but he surprised me with how well he moves in the dances.

I also don't think it is fair for any of the judges to comment on whether Heather should even be on the show. The producers choose her as a cast member - deal with it! I felt for her. (I happen to agree it's not fair to the other stars, but she's there at the request of the show runners.) I also don't agree with Julianne saying that ballroom dancing is so completely different from Heather's usual dance styles. Yes, there are a lot of differences, but Heather is used to learning routines and performing on stage - something many of the other stars have never done. She has the dance terminology and can understand how the ballroom dances are different from what she's used to doing.

I hope Charo goes next week. I can't handle watching or hearing her anymore.
I'm surprised Mr T got the praise he did. He barely moved during that number.

I think Rashad is really good, but doesn't seem to be getting any recognition. I think he is going to get a lot better too. And Ross, the baseball player, he is way better than I thought, plus he is having a BLAST! I love him (and I'm an INDIANS fan so that's saying a lot LOL) |
