Fun Facts: Hillary Clinton was many things as Secretary of State. One of the most notable, however, was "well-traveled." During her four years as the nation's top diplomat -- and particularly during her final year in that post -- Clinton fashioned herself as something of a George Clooney of global affairs, spending almost as much time up in the air as she did on the ground. In the process, she broke records. In July of 2012, during a trip to Finland, Clinton met Madeleine Albright's most-countries-traveled-to mark -- the record, at the time -- of 98 countries. She then surpassed it with a trip to Latvia. The new secretary then went on to visit 12 more countries, for a closing total of 112. • Total miles traveled: 956,733 • Which equates to this many times traveled around the circumference of the world: 38.42 • Total travel time, in hours: 2,084.21 • Total travel time, in days: 86.8 • Days of travel, in all: 401 • Which works out to: 1.099 years www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2013/01/hillary-clinton-traveled-956-733-miles-during-her-time-as-secretary-of-state/272656/All on the taxpayer's dollar! I really hope Barron didn't have to go. Can you imagine how boring that would be for a kid his age?

I would imagine he has a nanny and she/he could take him to see other places, not having to follow along with the parents. I don't know if he has or is autistic, but my son with autism would love it. Seeing Barron on stage on election night has me thinking he doesn't show any outward signs of it.

I guess I was thinking "real-world" kid being stuck in motel room lol.

A summary of the trip: 'Drunken Tourist,' 'End of an Era,' and 'Weakened' West: Rough Reviews for Trump's Europe Visit "Donald Trump is coming off of last week’s diplomatic tour, and even though it was his first trip abroad as president, it would seem his performance left a lot to be desired among foreign policy officials. During an election rally on Sunday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that European nations must take matters into its own hands because they could no longer rely on the United States for help. Foreign minister Sigmar Gabriel reiterated the chancellor’s words, saying on Monday that Trump’s policies are shortsighted and weakening the power and influence of the West... “This seems to be the end of an era, one in which the United States led and Europe followed,” said Ivo H. Daalder, a former American envoy to NATO. “Today, the United States is heading into a direction on key issues that seems diametrically opposite of where Europe is heading.” "
