I've been adding to my embellie stash. The last thing I bought was a Gossamer Blue Grab bag. I'm done spending for a while......probably lol I like how you added ...probably. That is me, to a T!

Oh I'm just being honest lol. I have no discipline when it comes to pretty things...I am going to try to scale back the spending though, I have a wedding coming up, but sometimes I swear those pretties are calling my name!!! LOL

I decided my embellishment supply was lacking and i started collecting Freckled Fawn embellishments & kits like a crazy person. In the past 6 months, I've somehow accumulated about 20 FF embellishment kits and tons of their product. I think I've killed my embellishment need for a while!

For me always patterned paper and co-ordinating stickers/die cuts. Around March, I bought a lot of wood veneers. I blame Calvinball and the bonus points. I've also bought 5 stencils in the last week.

Lsat weekend I stopped by my local Michael's and found a ton of patterned paper I loved. Most of it has either thermography or gold foil applied and it was $2/sheet! Ouch. But I've been in a huge paper slump the last year because I haven't liked anything and I actually really liked this stuff. I've already used half of what I bought. I'm going to go back this weekend if they do a memorial day sale to pick up some more. It's bright, busy floral and pineapples and flamingos and beachy type stuff. It's just great!

I think the easier question would be "what are you NOT buying like crazy right now?" 😳😳 This is totally me. I seriously need to get back into the freezer for a while. I'm fooling myself by having some of it kitted up so my storage drawers aren't overflowing but I know if I broke those kits back down I'd be in trouble.

I keep seeing this thread and think, 'man, I can't buy ANYTHING like crazy right now' and then I get sad...before trying to tackle a bit of tidying in my space and not having anywhere to move these piles. The reality is I don't need to buy anything like crazy...or much of anything at all, lol.

Stamps and dies.
When I visited my dad last, we made cards together! I think he enjoyed it. I am going to make it our regular routine.

It's almost always paper for me. I LOVE paper. But lately I have decided that I "need" a selection of coloured dye inks for stamping and my distress inks just won't do, so I have been amassing the Prima Color Theory inks. Lots of beautiful colours! (I should note that this follows a time of me buying Carabelle stamps like crazy )

Hmmm, I have been pretty good lately, but I have bought a ton of the super heavy card stock stacks from M's. I bought the white stack, the pink stack ( it has a very, very pale pink and cream paper) and the grey stack. I think they are 110 weight and each stack is at least 100 pieces. I love the weight and the fact I can use my distress oxides on them and spritz them with out the paper getting wrinkly. But, as each pack is at least 3 inches thick it is a damn lot of paper! In my defense I bought when it was on sale half price and I had an extra 20% off.

I've been buying up glitter and metallic pastes like crazy. I took the Sparkle & Shine class at Online Card Classes and have shimmer on the mind. I also got the Tonic Nuvo gilding flakes because they look like so much fun!

I can't stop buying all the pretty thicker alphas...and this is especially troubling since I repurchased a Cameo in part to avoid stockpiling thickers!

I seem to hoard themes. First it was stars. Star stamps, stencils or dies. Then it was houses, then critters, buildings and now art Deco theme.

I'm so tempted to take it, but then I end up watching YouTube videos and wonder if I need to, but I love the idea of an organized class that has a method and plan for teaching the things they do, in the order that they do. I'm also tempted by their watercolour cards classes.

I'm so tempted to take it, but then I end up watching YouTube videos and wonder if I need to, but I love the idea of an organized class that has a method and plan for teaching the things they do, in the order that they do. I'm also tempted by their watercolour cards classes. I think OCC has two different types of classes: some that are really technique driven and some that are more pretty cards. I've taken the Copic for cardmakers and watercolor (beginning and intermediate) and found those to be a great resource and packed with a lot of information. I loved the Sparkle & Shine class but to me it isn't really a technique class - most things, like coloring glitter paste other colors, foiling stamped images and mixing embossing powders aren't new techniques (at least to me). I took the class more because I love glittery things and I love Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire's cards. I got some great ideas for some very sparkly cards and I'm happy with that. It's presented very professionally and it's nice to refer back to it all in one place. So I think it depends on what you want to get out of a class that's lighter on the technique side. I hope that made sense to you! Like I said, I'm happy I took it and it got me inspired to make sparkly cards, but I don't feel like I learned anything earthshaking.

Stamps and dies for me, too. But since they're expensive items, I wouldn't say I'm buying like crazy. Let's call it buying consistently.

Would you believe Magic Mesh? When I discovered it is no longer produced, I suddenly got concerned. Hadnt used it for years. Well, after seriously searching for it, I bought what is practically a lifetime supply from somebody on ebay. I just did a great Cuba album and I used it on practically every page. Love it.

I just bought some new embossing powders because I saw a video from Jennifer MxGuirr with some new to me techniques for cards.

Stencils, gelatos & faber-castell pens for mixed media. I'm in love with art journaling. It's a way for me to create my very own artwork and not share or display. Maybe I should call it my secret diary!

I'm in 3 banner swaps - 1 patriotic (America); 1 shabby chic spring; 1 summertime. I've been buying any and all papers and embellishments and dies that I think I could use for them including some red glitter and blue glitter embossing powders. I will have tons and tons of stuff left over since I have no idea as to the direction I want to take with them at the moment and just a general feeling, so I just keep buying. (hanging my head in shame while shaking it in confusion).
