Real Reason Your First Lady Lives in NY

when people don't step up to a microphone and announce every reason for the decisions they make, the public at large will make up their own stories. As someone experiencing this in my personal life it irritates the hell out of me when it is done to someone else. Nothing sells better than Sex and Politics so of course she is having an affair. Nothing else would work. We hate him so much we are willing to drag his wife and child down with him. The insane level of hatred that everyone talks about is among their own ranks but because its directed at him, it must be okay. Leave the damn woman alone for crying out loud. I always thought she is being judged way too harshly over things simply because everyone hates her husband.

The 90% ethicist in me is screaming that this is none of anyone's business.

But the 10% "journalist" (ok, rubbernecker) in me is rather intrigued.

And I can't believe I'm saying this, but deep down I guess I hope she is receiving some genuine love & affection from somewhere.

So the tweeter posted a picture of the supposed "guy". Someone else responded that they've known the guy in the picture for 20 years and "1. he is not head of security at Tiffany and 2. He would never."

I don't see where this is at all important. I hate The Donald and don't have high respect for Melania, but really don't give a damn about their marriage. Does it matter whether we are paying for her to stay in New York because she has a lover or because her son is in school?

If this affected the corruption, espionage, interfering with justice, money laundering or treason investigation I would care, otherwise my eye is on the ball. This is white noise.

If she wants to find love and happiness elsewhere I hope, like anyone, that she'd have the decency to tell Donald and file for a divorce, not have an affair.

I seriously don't care who anyone in the WH is sleeping with. Go to town, people. I do hope that this fellow a generous lover. Everyone deserves that.

A video of Melania from 2011 shows her vociferously defending her husband’s quest to see Barack Obama’s already available birth certificate. Melania parrots the absurd charges of her husband and insists Obama never made his birth certificate available. Other times she’s chosen to speak out, have included when she defended her husband after the release of the audio in which Trump bragged about sexually assaulting women went public. She also attacked the reporter for People who accused her husband of rape.  She has also said a Jewish reporter brought anti-Semetic remarks upon herself.

Same here. The cost of the extra security bothers me a lot.

Count me is another one who doesn't actually care who Melania sleeps with, EXCEPT for the fact that if it's true, I can imagine the meltdown Trump will have and how pissed he'd be that he "lost face" in such a public way.

I dislike that man so much that I'll be honest enough to admit that I'd enjoy seeing him a little humiliated publically - especially when it comes to his sex life because he's been such a bragging pig about it in the past.

I also don't think this (if true) would in any way be a "sex scandal"...the bar of expectation for these two is already so low, that I doubt this would even be a blip on the radar. Everything that was previously expected of a President has already gone out the window with them, so her bonking someone on the side is going to be way way down the list of things people really care about.
