I'm not surprised. I read somewhere, I think at Nancy Nally's place, that MSP/Misti has sued Tim Holtz and Tonic over his stamping platform thingy. That's why it was delayed in the first place.... Because there was going to be a suit

I really wish we could find out what the changes are. I mean I bought it on seeing it in use on youtube. What if it isn't the same in quality and or function? Me. Too. And my card was charged back in april

What is this GS Board and where does one find it? The GS board is right here at 2peasrefugees! I am not sure which device you are peaing on, perhaps you are unaware of it because you come straight to NSBR as one of your default settings? Just go go to the top of the page, hit "Home" and you will see the other board parts. Enjoy!

I'm really confused and will have to read the GS threads to see what's going on but . . My TH Platform arrived from an English store a few weeks ago. I had preordered it in Frbruary and had an email apologising for the delay in April, I think, then the platform arrived shortly afterwards. I've not even taken it out of the box yet as I've not had a moment but I might try to make time tomorrow and see exactly what it's like! MSP's patent only applies to the U.S. All you luckies outside of the U.S. get the original and without continued delay. Enjoy! Ah, that makes sense, thank you. Normally we lag way behind you when new stuff is released so I would have expected a law suit to need to be settled before our platforms turned up, hence my confusion. Any of of you buying from over here would probably find it two or three times the price you pay in the USA. There are no special deals over here and we get hit with postage, customs and import taxes which hike the price up. gailoh, I am intrigued by someone's comment about your husband! Is he a crafter?

The Brits could make a fortune selling them to us US citizens anxiously awaiting this! I wish Tonic would let us know what the change is, if it is just the ruler, I am fine waiting, If they lost the magnetic base I want to find out how to order one from overseas. I heard from my LSS owner that it was the ruler that was changing (I don't think it was being removed, but changed). She did not say anything about the magnetic base. She got the information directly from TH at the recent Collins Show. I really, really, really want this and hope they get it resolved without seriously changing the qualities of the original design. I wish I could have gotten in to one of his classes! Yes we will both be there and stay at the LivInn next door Friday night...I didn't go for his class this year, he is really good but also really a fast pace class as well and I am not fast at much of anything anymore...lol I did purchase his new line of inks... I am taking the Art Impressions class with Bonnie at 2:30 on Friday though...I have gotten several of her stamp sets and the pens as well...

gillyp...lol not in what I do...he works in woodworking...he drives me down to Cincinnati every year since 2002 and lets me loose...then the ladies will say very nice things to him on how sweet he is to bring me down...he will stand aside and talk with a few other males who are doing the same for their honeys ...but for the past few years he does look at the stamps and will pick out some for me and the ones that are funny saying...he is a keeper...46 years and we still click pretty good together...

So what's going to happen when it's released. Do you think Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner going to use it in their videos. They both seem pretty chummy with Tim but are avid promoters of the MISTI?

The WRMK one doesn't have a magnetic base and it was pulled. But even if they had to take the base off, I bet Tim would come up with something brilliant.

There are no special deals over here and we get hit with postage, customs and import taxes which hike the price up. Luckily with my cousin coming over for a visit, I don't need to worry about postage and customs, otherwise I'm sure I wouldn't be getting it. This was just great timing. Cadbury's is next - though last time she forgot all the chocolate in the car trunk in Florida and so I ended up with a Cadburys brick!

And thank you to the Pea who helped find me the store...I don't know if she would want me to say her name...but if she posts back and lets you all know that is fine...

Jennifer McGuire said in a video after the controversy started that even with all the others coming out, that she would not be getting any of them and would stay with the MISTI.

I put this on the GS side, but I'll put it here since we're talking about it here too. It's awesome. I made one and I love it. Don't get me wrong, still getting the Tim one because his stuff is awesome and I can't wait to support him in light of this stupid lawsuit that MSP has brought.

Thanks for this info- unfortunately it won't sell to me here in Australia. I am sure I will track one down soon when everything is settled. I assume some Australian businesses will be stocking them, or I'll try and get one from overseas. Corinne

Hey. I broke out my WeR precision press today and I loooove it. It was super easy to use, and it's not magnetic, but I used a scrap of washi tape to hold down the paper I was stamping on, just in case. And it's pretty small, so it will be easy to cart around to crops. Not to say I won't still need the TH one if it ever actually comes out.
