Ha, at least you didn't have teenage boys traipsing through your bedroom - while you were still in bed!
I converted my loft into a bedroom for DS19 at the beginning of the year, and the access to it is from my bedroom. There's a curtain at the bottom of the new stairs to block out light and noise, but you can still see my bed from the bottom step. Yesterday morning, DS finished college by 10am and he brought three friends back home with him. They went up to his room because that's where all the guitars are. I had gone back to bed because I had been up half the night. They all wished me a cheery "Good Morning!" as they passed through. One of the boys used to come around all the time and stayed over most weekends, so I was okay with him, but I had never met the other two. Aargh!
