I lost 3.5 pounds on my first week of Weight Watchers. It was actually a short week since I just started on Monday but I wanted a Friday weigh-in!

I took a parkour class with my 2 1/2 yr old dog last week. One of the instructors giggled and said he must be an obedience dog as he bumped into an obstacle. I'm still taking it as a compliment because we have been working on him staying focused on me (he thinks he needs to be the class clown) and he's the first dog I've trained.

15 days after being rushed to hospital with a suspected stroke or head injury after a fall down stairs (turned out the confusion was due to a really bad UTI, coincidentally on the day she'd fallen) my mum has finally been moved to a rehabilitation unit, the first step towards coming home.

I'm happy I got a good performance review at work! Congrats! I got an Outstanding on mine (first review on our new contract). The only negative on it was that I should delegate more and that our program manager wants me to take some of my time off and stop working so many hours so I don't burn out. Heh, if I was going to burn out it would have happened a LONG time ago - he's afraid I would quit and they would have to hire three people to get everything I do done lol! I am taking it to heart though. Next week is a flex week (we have every other Friday off) and Tuesday after that is Independence Day, so I'm stretching it into a five day by taking the Monday off. I may even leave my laptop at work so I CAN'T do any work.  |
