The danger with waving to him is, he can take that to mean she is still interested in him and wants him back. It can inadvertently be the reason he increases his contact attempts. So if she is considering waving, honking, or any sign she has seen him she needs to know in the depths of her soul whether or not she wants to have him back in her life.
