Great news. I was offered a job and will start in September. I am so excited, everything happens when it is supposed to. Now some advice. I have two other job interviews that I had scheduled. Do I still take them just to see? One will be after I would start the one I was offered? What do the peas say?

Congratulations! If you're happy with the offer, I'd say skip the other interviews.

Good for you!!
I would say go to the other interviews. For sure the one before you start. Not so sure about the one after... You never know what could happen.
Congrats again!

If you are happy with your current offer, I would skip the other interviews. If you think one might be an awesome oppportunity and you are comfortable quitting a job you just started if offered another, then I'd go. You never know. I'd feel a little weird about taking time off at the new job to go on an interview unless, of course, you had the idea it was the dream job. Seems like wasting a lot of people's time.

Woo hoo! Congratulations, Jonda. Sending great new job vibes your way. If you are happy about the new job, and you think it will meet your requirements, then I think I would call and cancel the other two interviews. You are giving someone else a better chance at a new job by declining the interviews.

Congratulations. I'd go to the other interviews, perhaps one of those jobs is a better fit, and how would you know without going?

The job I was offered is a good job. Not my dream job but a good job. I had applied for a manager position but they offered me a different position in the company. The other interview is for the exact position I've been looking for. I just don't know if it will be a sure thing. I don't want to mess up the sure thing either. Who'd have thought after all this time that everything would start rolling in at once lol. I am in a 90 trial period with the sure thing so that's why I'm contemplating if I should keep my options open just in case. Either way I'm just happy I'll be working again.

Congratulations!!!!!!!! I get that just made your day/week/month completely!!!
I would go to the interviews IF they did not interfere with new job, then go from there.
Good luck with your new job!!!

Definitely do the interview that happens before you start. And do the other one as well if you think you can get the day off from your new job without jeopardizing it. It's always good to explore what else is out there.

Congratulations. You know, I KNEW you had a job when I saw your title. I would probably go on the job interview BEFORE the position starts but maybe not the one after. And yes, when it rains, it pours! No job and now two more interviews!

Congrats!!! I would definitely go on the interview before you start. Honestly, I don't know if I would go on the second interview or not. It really depends on how the new job is going and how lucrative the other position is.

Congratulations! I would definitely do the other interview and I might even possibly call the third one and tell them you are getting other offers, would it be possible to move up the interview time? Hey, you never know. And you never know. It could very well be that the job you accepted will actually turn into your dream job.
I'm really glad that things are finally rolling your way!

I am in a 90 trial period with the sure thing so that's why I'm contemplating if I should keep my options open just in case. Either way I'm just happy I'll be working again. I hear this a lot........nothing for long periods of time and then they flood in at the same time. I would go to whatever interview I could go to without taking a chance of pissing off my new employer. In other words, I would definitely go to the one before you start but the one after you start, I might have to see if it could be done after hours or I would cancel it. As for the trial period, pretty much every job has a trial period even if it isn't specifically stated up front so I wouldn't worry about that part. One of the other jobs is a job that you believe would be your perfect job so I would want to know more about it and go to the interview. Keep in mind that nobody is going to look out for you like you will look out for you. Just like a company has to do what is best for them, you have to do what is best for you. I will say though that I might try to see if there was any way to move up the interview that isn't until after you start your other job. I would much rather back out of a job I never started than to go in for a few days/weeks and then quit. And, I would assume that if I start and turn around and quit a few days/weeks later, that is a bridge that has been burned and I will never be able to go back there.

If I had already accepted a position I would have a hard time going on another interview. It would feel dishonest to me. Congratulations on your job!

Congrats! i would say to go on the interview that is prior to your start date. Unless the other interview is before or after hours, I wouldn't jeopardize the new job by asking for the time off. I'd also be careful if it's in the same industry because it's a small world and you don't want the new employer hearing that you may be willing to jump ship so soon.
Good luck!!

I agree with (almost) everyone else. Go to the first interview before you start the new job. Go to the other one if you can work it out and especially if that's the one that is your dream job. If you have to quit the new job before you start or even slightly after starting, do it. In my youth, I would have said you have to keep the first job you accepted. I have become much more jaded about these things. I see the terrible things employers do to their employees, and now I believe you owe them absolutely no loyalty. (Unless, perhaps, they have shown you extraordinarily good treatment during your time with them. Then maybe you owe them some loyalty. I mean like that guy in MA whose factory burned down and he continued paying his employees for months while it was rebuilt. If you had that boss, I would suggest treating him well.) And congrats. I am delighted for you.

That is wonderful news. I think, since it is not your dream job and there is a chance that one of the others could be, I would go to the interviews. That is unless you have to miss work to go and then it would be iffy. So happy for you.
