Christmas is not looking very merry with all the lines we've seen so far.

nicolep - I often notice similar patterns in many of this company's collections & find it odd they are usually credited to different designers (eg Tis the Season = Cassandra Cooper & A Perfect Christmas = Lori Whitlock). Note the red/white diagonal stripe & ornaments patterns in these two (& every past Christmas themed) lines are almost identical. Fortunately, this means the color palettes often match &/or coordinate. While I also prefer last year's collection due to the inclusion of grey, less themed papers, & small/repetitive patterns, I likely will purchase the plaid patterned papers from the current line.

I do like that most of these keep with a traditional holiday color scheme. It makes it easier to use them for cards. I think I have enough Christmas and holiday themed stash at the moment.

I'll be getting A Perfect Christmas for present day December Daily and then using Steven Duncan's Christmas collection for some older pictures I found in a closet that I thought were already scrapbooked, but weren't. I'm ready for Steven's collection to be released now! I need it! I also need a girl birthday collection in Steven's signature style, please. Hey there! I'm so that glad that you like the new Christmas line! It was so fun to work on. Carta Bella gives me such great collections to do! I'll share your idea for a Girl Birthday Collection with our Creative Director.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Steve Duncan's Christmas Collection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It feels like Christmas when I was growing up, as we had a lot of my Grandma's decorations from the 50's and 60's. I'd like to see a Summer collection in that style, not travel (though I do adore the Are We There Yet collection) along with a 4th of July collection as I've not really seen a great retro Americana collection and retro pets! I take a ton of cat & dog photos and would love something super cute and midcentury to go with them! and if no one has seen it yet, There's a Country Kitchen collection posted as "coming soon" on the Carta Bella page that's gone on my "must have list."

Thanks so much! I love your ideas for collections and will share them with the team at CB. I have my fingers crossed that I will get an Americana collection. Fireworks, banners, home town pride!. Love it! And I would love to do a pet line! I used to be the Creative Director at Suzy's Zoo and we did a fun pet line called Wags and Whiskers. It would be fun to create a collection with cute dogs and cats..and maybe other critters. One of my dogs is looking at me right now as I type.

Wow, disappointing EP to me. There was a time when I wasd buying every new line they had, but I don't want anything at all from "T'was the Night.." or "Wise Men.." and the only sheets I think I might be at all interested in from "Perfect Christmas" are the florals, particularly the flowers on the black background. But even then they remind me of what I've already seen in other lines, so I may find that I don't even need these.
Bummer.

I was just looking for a particular collection kit and came across EP's Christmas line from last year. How is this year's Perfect Christmas different than last year's Tis the Season other than they gray and brown colors? Not much difference to me. I actually like last year's better. I like last year's better, too. Save

Meh, they look the same as other years. I have a ridiculous amount of Christmas paper to use up, so I am happy to not be tempted.
