I'm an equal opportunity bowl licker - anything savory or sweet will do the trick.
My bowl-lickings of choice would be anything cheesy and/or creamy so everything from the remnants of scalloped potatoes (especially the crunchy bits around the edge of the dish) to my homemade green peppercorn sauce.

There is a sauce at Longhorn Steakhouse.. I order it with my steak.. I don't even know what it is call.. it begins with a B. Sounds like some French name.. Béarnaise? Lemon, tarragon & egg yolks. My sister loves that stuff. Kinda makes me shudder, lol. I lick the bowl for my mom's warm peach pie with vanilla ice cream.  That is the name of it!!! but doesn't even seem to have those ingredients in it.. wow!!! |

The juice from the marinated heirloom tomatoes from my garden that I make with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, garlic salt and fresh basil, chives and dill. I drink the whole bowl of marinade. Good stuff, Maynard!! Cindy Love the Maynard reference! We say that too. My answer is chocolate/sugar, though your tomato dish sounds awesome! |

Jiffy blueberry muffin mix batter...I could eat the whole thing raw. I don't know what it is but it's been my thing since I was a child.
Also, yellow and chocolate cake batter.
I don't actually lick the bowl, I use a spatula to get every last bit and I always save myself the beaters from the cake mix!

Chocolate peanut butter ice cream would be a bowl-licking choice for me, too. Also, DH makes this whipped cream frosting is that is just whipping cream, cocoa, and a slight amount of sweetener, and I love that stuff because it's not heavy and it's not super sweet.  |
