Apologies to linda and Elsabelle if this has already been posted. I have been really busy lately, and may not have noticed the August goals thread if it has already been set up. My annual goal for 2017 is a page a day. To keep up, I will need to complete 13 pages in August to bring my total for the year so far to 233. I have TONS of photos from our busy June and July and am heading into a family reunion this next weekend, so no fear of ever running out of photos. Just need some TIME and some MOJO. I also need to create at least 3 cards yet this month, for a running total of 56 cards. If an August goals thread has already been started, I will just copy and paste my goals to that thread. If not, I invite people to post your August scrappy goals here.

Wow! Only 13 pages to make your goal of one per day!! That's amazing grammadee. I have not seen another goal thread either. I really want to post some lofty goals. Actually I want to post a goal of a traditional layout as it's been at least a month since I've created a traditional layout. But I think any goal right now would be unwise. .

My goals are to use up all the kits I bought this month and to upload and order all my 2015 photos. I also would like to get more pictures of my son and my stepdaughters.

My goal is to make at least one set of cards for my list of "cards to make" lol. Hopefully, this will stop me buying more and storing more!

This month I'm hoping to:
Complete 15 pages 2 cards and organize my photos (I've gotten way behind)
So far this month I've done 8 pages, but a couple of those are pretty simple pages with minimal embellishments..

I am so impressed with the goals you all have set! Sadly, I think my scrapping time for the next little while is going to be limited, but I want to focus on doing a few pocket pages to go in the travel album I have been working on. I have been focusing on single page layouts, but if I continue this way the album will be MANY volumes. I also want to make some cards to have on hand.

My goal is to
Complete all the layouts that I have prepped for a crop this weekend for my living history project. I recall about 8 months ago I had a lofty goal to scrap all of this particular era's photos by July. Not even close, haha!
Catch up on my current photos the following week at a crop if it is held as planned. I still have my May birthday pics to scrap, Father's Day and then some current ones of my sons that they uploaded to FB for me.

Thanks for posting this thread, grammadee. Life got stressful this month and I didn't think about setting any goals for scrapping. Linda is off on her road trip and won't be around for a while. I haven't had any mojo this month. Because stress. But I'd like to get some journaling done on a a few layouts and get a few layouts done.

Thanks for posting grammadee - I just got home from the Epic Road Trip (15 days, 18 states, DC, and 1 Canadian Province) and hadn't had a chance to post Not sure of goals yet - let's start with dealing with the 1600+ photos I took (and I haven't looked at DH's or DD17's camera yet)

((((Hugs))))) Elsabelle. I hope the next month will not be a stressful for you as the last. And hopefully your mojo will return with your energy. Doing little things like finishing pages or organizing supplies are good projects for times like this, and maybe journaling on your pages about happier times will give you a little respite from whatever is troubling you now. Glad you had a great trip, linda, and that you have the photos to prove it. I often wondered where Floridians go for vacation, LOL. Would love to hear more about it. Which province did you visit?

progress - I'm tired of looking at photos but I've edited, posted to FB, and ordered prints through day 9 now plus ordered prints sent directly to my mum and her bestie (like an aunt to us) from my sister's wedding. It's been an all day process (as has the laundry...)

I will continue to look first to my scraps when matting photos and creating accents. I started in July and it's been great to feel like I'm using my scraps. However, my scrap storage is still too full, so I need to keep going. I am also sorting my supplies as I prepare to put my house on the market. I don't want to move anything unless I plan to keep it. I'm not going to pack everything away yet though. I need to keep some scrappy stuff out as long as possible so I can have the creative outlet. I get overwhelmed instead of motivated with challenges about # of pages completed, so nothing there. I'll just keep on scrapping.

It's been an all day process (as has the laundry...) the trip photos have been edited, posted to FB, and prints ordered. I also ordered prints of the pictures of flowers/cats that our cat-sitter took while we were gone. WM (and my bank) might be wondering what's up - I ordered 19 separate photo orders between yesterday and today...each day of the trip was a separate order (to help me keep the pictures straight) plus cats/flowers and two sets of prints I had mailed directly to my mum and 'aunt'. I'm going to take a day or two and catch up with other stuff that needs doing around the house and then hopefully scrap...prints will be at WM for me Fri, Mon, and Tues (site to store) but I have others on hand I can work on in the mean time.

Past the midway of the month, Ladies! How are you doing? I completed a ton of pages this week, bringing my year-to-date total to 250, so I have a few to spare for any months ahead that I don't complete a page per day. Also, my unstated goal is always to keep a good balance among my 11 dgk's in my albums, and I am happy that I completed pages this past few days with photos of ten of them. The eleventh (well actually my first dgk, but the one left out of the scrapping this week) had a bunch of pages done for his grad in June, so I call that even! I read over the August challenges before getting started, but not sure if I actually MET any of them. Will have to check when I get my pages uploaded to the Gallery. I know I still want to use KikiPea 's marvelous 2 page sketch for our family reunion group photos, but not sure if I will actually get that done this month. And I have been consciously adding bits and pieces from my embellishment stash to several pages, so working on the challenge I set myself in dasmith2 's challenge.

I've made three layouts so far this month, two of those have been double pages. No progress on my July month in review pages and I have guests this weekend so likely no scrapping either (unless they leave early enough today - is it wrong to wish for that?)
Although I'm well behind where I expected to be I'm still happy with what I've got done.
