I had my craving last week. I wanted buffalo chicken dip and mu husband makes the absolute best. He made a big dish of it for Friday night and I'm pretty sure I ate an obscene amount of it. I'm cured for a while now.  |

Is it a recipe I can find on the Internet? Yes! We use the basic recipe from Frank's RedHot Sauce FOUND HERE. He adds sauteed onions and mushrooms to it as well. |

OK I just googled it. It was called the Dynamite Chicken Salad. It has smoked chicken over fresh greens, topped with corn, black beans, tomato, cheese, a quesadilla roll-up, tortilla chips and bbq ranch. My waitress told me that I should order it with BBQ brisket and bacon on top (I guess it isn't on the menu but its some secret menu item) and OMG. Seriously so good. There was no way I could eat it all so I brought leftovers home. That's from Rib Crib, as soon as you said cheese quesadilla I knew it. lol I get it every time I go! It's yummy! OMG why couldn't you have talked about this yesterday when I was in Roswell and *almost* went to RibCrib? Wah! I was afraid I would be disappointed since I'm used to really good Texas 'cue. I'm jonesing for some good Asian fusion food truck food. I'm stuck in NM for a few more days and, while I love the local food here, there's really not much to choose from outside of NM Mexican fare. |

I want cake!!!! Lol I need a sweet sugar frosting fix, stat! What are you craving. I've been having a bad couple of weeks. First we had our dog neutered and he had bleeding complications. Then my mom had an emergency appendectomy with post op complications, and last week my BF was in a near fatal accident at work (he cuts trees and it went horribly wrong smashing into his head). And tomorrow is my birthday, which has not been good for several years in recent history. So today I stopped at the store and bought a can of frosting, sat with a spoon and ate half of it! Guilt free. |

Chips and salsa and a margarita. My granddaughter and I are going to the Mexican restaurant she works at, for lunch tomorrow. Their margarita flavor this week is pineapple and she says it is delish! They also have the best chips, salsa and ranch. Fresh corn on the cob would be lovely but I don't think it's ripe yet, maybe another week of two. I wait all year for this. We had local, Amish grown, corn on the cob yesterday. It was so good. I don't have much of a sweet tooth and when I do it's for something totally random but specific. Right now I would kill for a slice of chocolate cream pie. I don't have much of one either, but yesterday I was craving fresh peach pie with homemade whipped cream. So, I made one! Popeye's fried chicken tenders with ranch dipping sauce I love Popeye's spicy chicken tenders with their ranch. That's what I want...right now!! |

We've been passing by the key lime pies at Costco for weeks because they're just.so.dang.big! But today we were having an old friend over for dinner with her family from out of town, so it was a good excuse to pull the trigger and buy one knowing half of it would be eaten by our guests.   So since I could have the one piece of pie that I wanted without the guilt of having the whole rest of it sitting here, I went ahead and made a pan of Ghirardelli brownies and covered them with homemade ganache too! I made a pan of those to take to a friend's party last weekend and only got a tiny piece and have been thinking of them ever since. And because it's just wrong to have a brownie without a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, I made a batch of homemade vanilla ice cream to go with it!  |

But I have also been steroids for months.
And they make me crave meat! Specifically roast chicken with the skin all crispy. Mmmmm...

I've been vegetarian for 32 years, I took my husband out for lunch last week and he had a turkey club sandwich. Oh, my god, the bacon made me drool, it smelt so good. Thankfully it didn't turn into a proper craving just a momentary thing.
Right now I'm craving sunshine and warmth.

Scallops or mussels ... lobster or crab ... oysters  Unfortunately, my family hates seafood so I only get to eat it when we go out for dinner  Same here- even with DH (in fact most our inlaws siblings wont either) and I he won't touch the stuff if it comes out of the ocean! lol! I did get him to try Lobster on the cruise. He tolarated it drenched in butter of course. Lobster in butter sauce and scallops are my favorite!! I so need to go back to the coast! It's been toooo long! I grew up eating as it's my moms favorite. So we were used to it early on. |
