ABC News.... “U.S. Coast Guard offloads 50,000 lbs of cocaine and heroin in San Diego that was seized in 25 drug raids. abcnews.com” Oh the irony of this one little tweet. No problem. We'll just extend the wall into the ocean If I'm not mistaken Trump wants to slash the Coast Guard budget. He must not view them as essential enough.

Melania says in her speech that empathy and kindness must be taught to children and that adults need to "lead by example" Clearly her husband doesn't agree, or feels he is exempt. He's the one retweeting a GIF of him hitting Hillary with a golf ball, he constantly tweets insults about people's looks or their [low] intelligence or he does it verbally about world leaders in his speeches. I'm stealing a line from someone who tweeted "her speech on anti-bullying comes 3 days after his bullying-on-steroids speech at the UN"
I don't know how she can do this with a straight face, with her husband, reasonable person can take anything she says on this topic seriously...surely even she can see the hypocrisy? Surely.

From SF Gate
“WASHINGTON (AP) — Employees at the Environmental Protection Agency are attending mandatory training sessions this week to reinforce their compliance with laws and rules against leaking classified or sensitive government information.
It is part of a broader Trump administration order for anti-leaks training at all executive branch agencies. The Associated Press obtained training materials from the hourlong class.
Government employees who hold security clearances undergo background checks and extensive training in safeguarding classified information. Relatively few EPA employees deal with classified files, but the new training also reinforces requirements to keep "Controlled Unclassified Information" from unauthorized disclosure.”
I suspect this is unique to the trump administration. Could be wrong.

This says it all. During Trump's speech yesterday. Then he ( John Kelly) started praying ![](https://cdn.inquisitr.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/john-kelly-trump-united-nations-rocket-man-670x388.jpg) I'm pretty sure he had a lot of company, says someone who is not particularly religious.

check this out-- this article was linked in the BBC one that gar posted about Trump and Nambia... other countries' diplomats don't get the "full Trump" experience, depending on how their translators translate his word salad into their language! Not sure how I feel about this- on the one hand, what's translated is a lot less idiotic and inflammatory... but on the other hand, what's translated is actually INTELLIGENT compared to those of us who listen to him speak in English, so it's not a *true* representation of him. I can't decide which I think is actually better for us as a country. People from other countries might listen to his translations and think "he's not so bad; what's their problem with him?" Just one example: Trump: "blah, blah, blah economically depleted rogue state whose chief exports are violence, bloodshed, and chaos" Translation: "In our opinion, the lives of Iranians could be better"

Soooo watching Rachel Maddow and she was wondering what had trump’s inaugural Committee did with the left over money. All along the Committee has said the money would be given to charity. But no proof. When asked whoever is head of the Committee is not talking.
Rachel had this guy on talking about the campaign/RNC paying trump’s legal fees. And Don. jr ‘s fees.
Then Rachel asked him about the left over money from the inaugural fund. Bottom line, if he wants to, trump can put the money in his pocket.
How much do you want to make a bet that’s the money trump donated to various charities after Harvey and Irma came from the left over funds of the inauguration? And he is now taking credit for donating money as his own when in fact it was donated money for the inauguration. He has done it before.

IMO this is why Sanders would have not won against trump.
Bernie Sanders....
“Six people own more wealth than half of the world’s population. There is no justification for that. #BernieFP”
Instead of worrying about other people’s wealth and finding ways to take it from them why don’t you spend the time coming up with ways of moving the poor up into the ranks of the middle class. It is doable. It may not be easy but ultimately these folks will benefit from it as will the entire country.

It seems Ivanka’s business is being sued over a sandal. When it became time for the deposition below is the reason her attorney argued on why she shouldn’t have to give one.
From Bloomberg....
Trump was not aware of the Aquazzura style ‘Wild Thing’ shoe at the time she signed off on the season line that contained the Ivanka Trump style ‘Hettie’ shoe,” Saunders, her lawyer, argued in a letter to the judge. “The burden of a deposition of Ms. Trump would far outweigh any likely benefit to Aquazzura.” Saunders added that her role as a “high ranking government official” should preclude her from having to submit to a deposition. (Trump was appointed to be an assistant to her father in the White House).
On June 23, Forrest rejected Trump’s argument. “She is alleged to have personal involvement in the events at issue in this lawsuit,” the judge ruled. “She cannot avoid a deposition in this matter.”
Unbelievable.

story here: Iranian Interpreter Defends Trump Speech OmissionsThe translation was for a news programme and not for diplomats. The diplomats that were there would be listening to an official UN translator simultaneously with the speech.Maybe old uneducated people in Iran don't understand English but most young educated people have a good grasp of English and believe it or not a high proportion of young people in Iran nowadays are well educated especially in the cities. It was aired in full on their English language channel. According to the report they could hear Trump in the background. This translator works for the Iranian state broadcaster IRINN and it was his personal decision to not interpret it word for word so I would say that most of the people that mattered would have heard what he said.

Diddums... Poor little rich girl and all that jazz. FTR although he was able to call on certain legislated privileges to excuse him from court while he was State President, Nelson Mandela insisted on appearing to give evidence. This family make me sick to my stomach.

“Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team.Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!”
Ah tiny hands Steph is not hesitating about coming, he flat out said he wasn’t.
IMO unfortunately for the first time because of the occupant of the White House it’s not an honor to visit White House.

If you are going to give a specific reason for your actions at least make sure it’s a valid reason...
From Politico..,
“HHS Secretary Tom Price has been taking private jets because an unreliable commercial flight once forced him to cancel an important meeting, a Department of Health and Human Services spokesperson says, part of his agenda to meet with average Americans outside of Washington.
But the flight in question — to a two-day industry conference at a Ritz-Carlton hotel in Southern California — didn't get off the ground on a day when storms virtually shut down air traffic in the Washington region, preventing even private jets from getting out.”

He has no class & is an embarrassment. And yet how many people who are conservative and 'family values' voters completely overlook this lack of character? They like him because he's white. They like him because he's on 'their side' - even though he really isn't doing anything at all for them. They like him because he lets them say mean things about immigrants, gays, Muslims, brown people, black people, and anyone who isn't just like them - and they can just claim that they're 'telling it like it is' because if the president feels that way, they must be right. They like him because he's 'one of them' - except for the fact that he's really not anything like them at all when it comes to morals, work ethic and feelings of entitlement. At some point, the people he's suckered into believing that he's one of the common folk will realize that he's not one of them, he's never been one of them, and he doesn't admire or respect them one bit. He's used them, and he'll continue using them until they stop allowing it. Some of them will never stop, because that would mean either a) admitting you were a fool, or you got conned or b) admitting that you really aren't all that patriotic and American as you thought you were - because when it came right down to it, the Constitution and rule of law that you pretended to care about really weren't all that meaningful to you, and you were willing to overlook them when it came down to your guy not having to abide by them.

That type of hypocrisy drives me absolutely insane. If they are such Christian conservatives, why doesn't it bother them he cheated on two wives and traded them in for younger models? Imagine if Obama had done that. We would have heard about it non-stop! And I'm sure Jesus would have totally been in favor of people with pre-existing conditions not being able to get or afford health insurance either.

Is he a dictator?
Do we no longer have a protected freedom of speech and expression?
