European Peas (and Skellinton ): Kesi'Art have finally started sneaking their new Christmas line which will be released this Friday. It's called December 25th and has a very soft, warm (and pinky) palette. That woodgrain album has me all ... Don't mind the 2012 mention, looks like their CT member is years behind on getting her DD albums done.
Okay, I'm not that much of a fan of pink but with two daughters, I'd use the heck out of that collection. The woodgrains are lovely. I agree with @millefeuilles too about having a stamp set in French.

@millefeuilles I'm with you on the pink Kesi'Art palette. I might pick up a couple of papers and that woodgrain album. Might. Will hop into Cultura next week and see. Glad to hear you've been given your parcel without having to pay. "Too late now, suckers!" UPS is a hawt mess. As for me, I have no tracking number for my parcel. It arrived in France two weeks ago. UPS no longer tracks it. La Poste can't help without a valid Colissimo tracking number. So, ya know, that parcel's almost certainly lost. But I need to wait 40 days since it was shipped to ask for another from Ali Edwards. And I don't trust them to have enough back-up Paislee Press mini kits for all the lost parcels so...

Ugh, I don't understand how things like that happen in this day and age. ETA: not the loss as mistakes happen. But the "dropped link". Surely someone has a valid tracking number when the parcel hits La Poste. Why doesn't UPS gets it? Why doesn't La Poste gives it to AE or the customer once it's in their system? Also, I'm afraid you're right on the Paislee Press mini kit--my album was the green one and they didn't have it in stock anymore (they did make it right). I didn't buy the Paislee Press kit or I'd offer it to you. I don't do pages beforehand, but maybe you do? When does the 40 days ends?

I think that UPS just hands over the smaller Inked parcels to La Poste. I have had all my orders delivered that way lately (and I only order small). There's no follow-up, nothing. Usually, I end up receiving my stuff a few days after UPS stops tracking at the French border. Not this time. Can't blame La Poste because I don't know what their deal as a sous-traitant is. Inked and UPS though... Didn't get any help but a standard "The transit time is now completely dependent upon the local postal service" from AE CS. Got my shipment notification on the 11th. So, I still have another 25 days to go (apparently it's 45 days, not 40, oops). Eh, we'll see if an early Christmas miracle does happen. If I can't get my album prepped before the weekend of the 11th-12th of November, it's game over for me. Work will be too busy. Should've known not to spend money at Inked.

That's UPS mail innovation, isn't it? UPS hands it over in the United States to La Poste (for us) according to what AE CS told me once. I'm crossing my fingers the parcel shows up so you can do your foundation pages.

Even though Inked/SC/AE offers "free shipping" we all know it's built into the product's price. But they use the cheapest possible way to send things. I placed an order overseas 10 days ago and I have been able to track it every step of the way. So it is possible, it's just that they don't want to pay for it. I hope you get your goodies soon and without a huge hassle.

@millefeuilles justlisa7 @scrappersoccermom Thank you for the may-your-goodies-soon-be-delivered wishes. I don't like to throw myself pity parties, especially for something material but I guess the calendar shifting to November yesterday and the realisation my DD plans were going straight out the window made me extra moody. Normal schedule resumes: back to positivism and preparing a plan B just in case the parcel did get lost. I think Kesi'Art lost several of their Canadian distributors over the years (not sure why but they used to be sold both in the US and Canada). Couldn't find any so far, sorry North American Peas! They've also shown a lovely Advent calendar using their Metaliks dies (including the triangle box) and December 25th cardstock + embellies. https://www.instagram.com/p/Barx81RjC_v

I have been looking all around the Kesi'Art site and just saw Stephanie Dagan on there. I had forgotten about her and she was one of my favorite designers for a very long time when I first started at SC years ago. Her style is so clean, fresh and just gorgeous! I saw she has a book for sale on Amazon, but it looks like I can only get it in Amazon France? Not sure how that works. Loving the advent calendar too. I signed up on the Kesi'Art site so I can see the gallery, community. So many ideas!

I signed up on the Kesi'Art site so I can see the gallery, community. So many ideas! Glad to hear you're enjoying the Kesi'Art world. I'm a little sad they didn't manage to break into international scrapbooking as they really do offer some beautifully designed goodies and have an amazing CT. As for Stéphanie Dagan's book, you can order it directly from Amazon France. Just log in using your Amazon WhicheverCountry account and you'll get a shipping quote. Make sure to select amazon.fr as your vendor. Amazon (global) calculates shipping + import duties automatically for your destination. This is how I buy goodies from Amazon US (and Amazon UK and Amazon Germany). I assume you've seen the Kesi'Art blog entry about her book? There are 20 different types of paper projects in it. It's definitely a mix of techniques and crafts (not just scrapbooking). The book is divided up into the 4 seasons. Autumn is about making mini albums with different cover materials, planners/agendas, home décor (frames with butterflies, origami, natural elements) and making pretty boxes with little compartments to give away home-baked treats and biscuits. Winter is dedicated to using paper scraps to make cards, different Advent calendars, an album with a knitted cover and special Valentine's Day "folded notes." Spring is for making watercolour invites with ribbon and eyelets, a mini birthday album and leather pockets to stuff with photos and give away for Mother's Day or Father's Day. Summer, finally, revolves around travel: creating a travel pouch to hold your travel keepsakes, a mini album and travel journal. There are also a few pages about scrapbook layouts and Project Life. Hope this helps.

sleepingbooty, I actually went to her blog and saw it there. Thanks for explaining how to order it. I think it comes out around $33 for me to order it. I am going to ask for it for Christmas from my husband. It sounds wonderful from what you explained. I just love everything she does.

okay i have not read the whole thread--but is there a sort of mini album project life december daily kit? i know, mashup! but i like project life (don't do it, but have in the past, and it was doable), i want to do a mini album for december, and i need pockets and easy peasy (in hopes that I will actually complete it). Does such a thing exist?

Does such a thing exist? That is sort of the essence of December Daily. You get a 6x8 album (or any other album), pocket pages, a set of PL-type cards designed for December and Christmas things (they usually come in a kit with some embellishments and 6X8 papers but several companies offer just PL-sized card sets for December as well), you print out your photos as the month goes by and fill that album up. Or are you talking about a smaller format than 6x8?

So if i like simple and clean, which kit would you recommend? I just found this one and the prices is right...
