I really like the blue. But I still don't see $50 in product. Other than the cards and the stickers, it comes off as partial packs of die cuts you'd get from a kit club...they could do a lot more for $50!!

FWIW: I actually like single sided cards, if all of the designs are represented. There's nothing worse than loving both sides of a card and only being able to use one b/c the other side doesn't fit in the layout! This is me too. I have always felt this way across the board with any company and or kits with single-sided cards. It's a personal preference but I definitely prefer single-sided cards. One benefit to single sided cards - the ink from the designs on the facing card won't rub off and ruin the design on the back of the touching card in the pack. Cuz that's never happened.

I will give credit where credit is due and say I'm impressed that full reveal was released today. I had previously said that I felt it was underhanded to create a rush to order for fear of missing out. It's classy to release it early. I wasn't going to participate because I'm a DD failure, but since the kits are out, I'm going to go take a look. I appreciate having an opportunity to figure this out tonight and since I feel like this is respectable business practice, if I am on the fence about anything, I'll go with ordering because of it- before I would have opted not to because I would have felt like a certain level of deception was going on. I really do appreciate her considering the feedback and I hope she has a successful release. I agree. Kudos to Ali and Katie for listening to feedback and following through. Maybe this will help lessen the click frenzy to see all the things that tends to crash her site on reveal.

I deleted my post. I hate how I sounded.
I will just reiterate that I'm patiently waiting for FJ to release theirs.
And it bothers me that the red cards in the kits don't match. I guess I'm too OCD.
I hope those of you who are ordering tomorrow love your purchases. I truly do.

I definitely appreciate the full reveal today to give us something to think about ahead of time. My girls want the Kid kit - and including the album is fantastic for us. I'm debating on Liz's kit + an album, but I'm totally waiting for KP to provide more info, since I already plan on purchasing FYC too.
Anybody see Brandi's sneak of the baking girl stamp set she's releasing? DYING.

I like Liz's kit but I'm holding out to see what Felicity Jane & Feed Your Craft release. Not loving anything else. I actually made some progress on my Dec 2016 pictures. If I finish, I may buy myself a new kit as a reward.

I am actually of thinking of getting Liz's kit. I think I can get it & add to it stuff I already have. I love some of Ali's kit but not enough to pay $50. I would love a set of cork numbers, the pocket, chipboard and the felt hearts. I can recreate the hearts and pocket easily enough.

I wasn't wowed by any of the photos. I think if I didn't have any of the previous kits, I would really be interested in the main kit, but it's too repetitive for me. I will say though, after watching the videos I really like Liz's kit!

I really like the main kit, but I'm not sure I need that much stuff. "Need" I don't mind the cards being decorated on one side, but why can't the back side of all the cards just be consistent like journaling lines and a small tree in the corner? I know I can decorate or write on the back, but it would be cute to have something consistent on the back side.

I couldn't help but think of this thread when I saw that AE was revealing the kits in advance of the ordering frenzy. I'm glad they heard the feedback (from here or elsewhere, or maybe everywhere) - hopefully it helps their servers cope if everybody isn't madly clicking just to see what's available, and makes it easier for the people who are excited about the kits to get what they want. I looked at the pictures here and yeah, no, I'm not even tempted. (I'm usually at least tempted). I don't care for some of Ali's colors, I don't do religious, and although Liz's papers and cards are nice, I don't like any of the extra bits. And then I saw someone refer to $50 and I did a double-take. Nope. Nothing I see here is worth anything like $50 to me. I was imagining a price tag of $25-35 based on what I was seeing. To me $50 would be a kit+album price. I guess I might pay that much for a kit if I really loved it, but I don't plan to spend more than about $30 in total on Christmasy supplies. (ETA: seeing the $50 is for the main kit but the others are cheaper -yeah, still no). I'll stick with Brandi's Feed Your Craft offerings and maybe some In a Creative Bubble printables.

I hate when I love both sides but I really hate when I don't like the one side and there's nothing on the back to go to. A beautiful mess would put grid lines on their b sides. How hard is that?

Has anyone seen how much the mini kits are going to be? I love the kids kit, and the paislee press kit. The main kit is not worth $50. I'm sure I'll pick up the Elle's Studio kit and felicity jane, plus I normally love Freckled Fawns Christmas kit.

I miss a mix of: The amount of 6x8 paper and embellies that we used to get (3-5years ago) Ribbon/glitter tape Washi! Dimensional embellishments. Everything here is flat, flat, flat. The knit sweater, pine needles/pinecones, blurry sequin pics. At first I hated them, but I ended up loving them. Transparency or chipboard dividers I do like the kits, but can't help feeling there is something missing....
And yes, I will be buying the main and maybe Jasmine's.

After seeing the kits, I am getting the Paislee Press one--I like the aesthetic, and it is different than what I already have.

I like the main kit and I like Liz's kit. But I don't love either of them. And I find that I rarely use 6x8 full size papers. I still have so many extras from previous years.
I do really appreciate the full reveal, though.

Hmmm I like them a lot but not sure if that's the look I want this year. I really liked the Snow and Coco collection last year and it worked well for my toddler. I think I might want something more light and fun than so traditional

REALLY dislike the Kids Kit. I think it's that bright yellow on the card and the plastic sticker sheet.
They're not for me, but glad that people are seeing good changes and some kits that they like.

I am actually of thinking of getting Liz's kit. I think I can get it & add to it stuff I already have. Same here. Liz's mini could tie in other supplies (including non-seasonal stuff) to make a nice but still consistent DD album. Whatever's left over can be used next year since it's such a chameleon aesthetic with basic colours. If the price hasn't gone up from last year's and remains $19.99, I'm getting it. I don't want my total budget for DD to exceed 40€/$47.7. A mini kit would definitely keep it within that limit. loco coco Have you looked at Crate Paper's new Christmas line, Falala? It's a slightly muted/calmed down version of Snow and Cocoa. Still fun though!

AE DD kits - I'm mostly underwhelmed, but after seeing the videos the kit that appeals to me the most is Liz's/Paislee Press, because it seems the most coordinated and I can use some cards for non-DD projects. I kind of liked the colors in Jasmine's kit and the diamond pattern, but that's about it. Didn't expect to like the Kid's kit this much--I love the album because that shade of green + stars just appeals to me (I've had a thing for stars since I was a kid). Might actually do a DD project with this small, fun kit? Hmmm. Still can't wait to see what KP and Brandi's kits look like

I quite like Liz's kit even though the colours are quite dark for my warm weather Christmas, but would it have killed them to put enough number 1's on the sticker sheet so you could use it to create all the numbers between 1 and 25? By my calculation you can only make up to the 18th Dec then would have to find something else for 19 and 21 (and 31 if you go to the end of the month).

Was looking at the Paislee Press/Liz kit and it totally reminded of the project life "Everyday" core kit from a few years ago. I really like that one and still use it. Went and looked at it and Liz designed that one too. Hahaha. So for all of you loving the Paislee Press kit- there is a project life kit right up your alley I do like that DD kit, but not $20 worth of like. Maybe if it's still around next July, I'll pick it up on sale.

Liz has three PL core kits, actually. The good ol' Midnight, Everyday you mentioned and this year's Project 52 called the Fresh edition. She's been around the block and still successful. #PaisleePressfangirlhere I agree, loveslabradors, this DD mini is very close to the Everyday aesthetic regarding colours and Liz's favourite woodgrain pattern.
