I chose printing photos! Those darn pesky things lol. It almost makes me miss the days of film. Almost.

picking out the papers is the funnest part. getting the embellishments together and figuring out their position on the page is a huge PITA.

I picked other. For me it is cleaning off my desk (and floor) before I can start scrapping. I just pile stuff around me while I'm creating and in the end it's a huge mess that I leave. Then that stops me from creating the next time I have some time available.

I voted edit/print photos. I do have a system now, and it seems to be working well for me. I am hoping I can keep it up. Finding time would be my second problem.

I put picking out the paper. It's the most fun, but I am so darned particular and I want it to be perfect and I can get so many choices out that I AM near paralyzed from making a decision.
For those that struggle with photos, are you printing at home? Best decision I ever made.

I chose other. For me, it is MOOD or MOJO.
If I am in a creative frame of mind, I can scrap on my bed if my counters (yes, TWO of them) are both full; papers that match the photos and theme jump to my fingertips when I open a drawer; I not only remember that I HAVE that perfect embelly to finish it all off, but I also know exactly where it IS!
When mojo escapes me, EVERYTHING is a struggle. I discover I have printed the wrong photos, or the right photos in the wrong orientation, and I can't seem to be able to make them fit on the LO. I search for hours looking for a paper or embellishment I THOUGHT I had, but now is no longer in evidence. When I finally make some decisions and glue something down it invariably is in the wrong place or is crooked and when I lift it up the ONE piece of paper I liked rips, right in the middle...
Usually these dark times come when I haven't scrapped in awhile and I am just not feeling the flow of creativity, or when I am at the end of a scrapping binge or a crop, am feeling tired, and have already scrapped all the stories in which I was most interested. Or, a day can start on a high, but then I get interrupted 85 times for mundane reasons, and when I finally get back to my scraproom Mojo has left the building and taken Creativity with her.

Actually being paralyzed... From the waist down...
Sorry I had to. LOL. Humor is one way I've dealt with it for the past 26 years. When someone asks me how I'm doing I usually reply "can't kick".

I picked other. Getting started is the hardest part for me.
Once I've started, I can do several layouts/cards at a time.

Then that stops me from creating the next time I have some time available. Ugh this is so me! When I'm making a layout the mess becomes this huge unmanageable pile. So when I'm done I walk away because I don't want to deal with it. Well then the next time I want to create something I still have to clean the pile off the table. And I still don't want to deal with it. So I just don't and don't make anything else.

I don't think any of it is paralyzing. I guess I just feel in the mood or I don't. On our last vacation, I had five sd cards of photos to chose from. I probably printed 400 pictures of varying sizes for three different albums. I print out index prints from each sd card and start picking. That probably is the thing that takes the most time (other than the actual scrapping). I just bring all of those print outs to Sam's, park my butt at a kiosk, and start.

It varies for me. Sometimes it's getting the photos printed, sometimes I struggle with embellishments, sometimes I can't seem to find the time and sometimes it's just plain old mojo/mood. I would say that overall mood/mojo is probably my biggest challenge. I really need to be in the mood to make progress.

Editing and ordering pictures has always been the thing I dislike the most about scrapping. Thank goodness for podcasts! They make it almost enjoyable.

I chose other.
For me, the biggest roadblock to sb-ing is letting myself, even though there are still chores to be done.
But gosh, there is always something that needs to be cleaned, organized, or repaired.

Printing photos followed by a wanting to scrap but should do 100 other things first, or having time but being too tired...

Typically it's photos for me too...although I have so many years of good photos I never lack material... so honestly, it's more a matter of MOJO - like others above have said - LETTING myself enjoy, not being too tired (easier to veg in from of a scrapbook video or candy crush) - especially the past 2 months! Zero mojo

I have a bunch of photos I need to have printed. There are way too many to print at home so I have to go through the whole select-upload-pickup etc. process. To me this is the biggest block to my scrapping.

I chose other. For me it is the title sometimes as well as mood. I notice I scrap more in the cooler months and on rainy days. During the 110° summer days? Nope. My scrap area faces west so the afternoon sun comes in and its hot in the top of the stairs nook area.

Making my way to the scrapbooking counter through the clutter of rubbermaid totes and bags of stuff. There is no easy way to get to it.

Other Placement! I've accepted it's my biggest weakness, so I always find a sketch or page to copy. I can't remember the last time I edited a photo.

Sorting, editing, uploading, printing photos...I'm convinced this process is a large part of what has stalled my scrapbooking for the past three years. HATE it.

I voted edit/print photos. I do have a system now, and it seems to be working well for me. I am hoping I can keep it up. Finding time would be my second problem. This is me exactly. Editing and printing or uploading to print is an arduous process that takes too long. I'm at the stage of life where other things are always a priority so it gets pushed to the back burner time and again. For example, one of the only crops I go to is happening in a week and a half. Normally I'd go and I haven't missed one since my DD was born, but my BFF's mom (who is also my dear friend) is terminally ill and doesn't have much time left so it's more important to me to stay home to be with her right now.

Editing and printing photos, but at the moment just finding time to craft is a mission. I'm so busy at work I end up working part of the weekend leaving no time for fun!

I often feel like I can't be bothered - picking the cards, picking the embellishments, feeling like I don't have the right supplies.
I voted for printing photos and finding the right embellishments.

I chose other but for me, it is the fact that I am so disorganized that I cannot lay my hands on what I know I have for certain photos. I don't have to pick out paper or embellies, I just have to locate them in my hoard.
I was going to scrap current photos at my last crop and could not even think about gathering what I know I have for those photos. so I went with my ongoing project. Meanwhile I fall further behind with current pics. I'm still doing May pics.
Photos I pretty much edit and order the same day or close to it.
