San Joaquin Valley girl here. It is only 106 right now. We are used to the heat, and I am surprised that we are not warmer than Benicia. I'm in SJ Valley also. We were supposed to have an outdoor paintball party tomorrow. We are cancelling and having the kids come here to our place and swim instead. I can't see a bunch of 11yo boys running around in long sleeves and pants in 108 degrees all afternoon. |

Right now in my little corner of Sonoma Countty it's 109 down from 112.

It's too hot to get into the pool, but tonight i will be sneaking in. My mom is in Napa and her power is out. I am a bit worried for her. It is a PGE issue. Although they have tons of shade trees around the house. Have fun with the boys. |

This heat sucks! I resorted to redneck swimming in the plastic pink kiddie pool I bought for my dog!  I'm so looking forward to a cold rainy winter but this is So Cal so I think I might be dreaming. |

We drove to Mendocino today - going up the 101 through Santa Rosa etc it hovered around 105. Then we cut over on the 128 and it was 111! It is a perfect 70 right now on the coast and we cooled off with a swim in the ocean. Sitting on the deck now with a glass of white wine. Don't hate me lol.  |

I feel for all you Bay Area peas. I'm in Stanislaus County and we regularly get death hot heat, but we have AC and are used to this horrible heat - you guys aren't. I have family from East Bay to SF and am seeing all their posts about the temps where they are. We hit 108 today and sat outside for about 6 hours for two football games. I'm ticked they didn't cancel or push back the games, ridiculous.

it was 103 at my house today.. no A/C.. dd stole the two small fans we have. the only saving grace is a tiny cool breeze...
106 yesterday at my house. in the city thank god I live on the fog side.. and Karl the fog should be back on tuesday..

Well, it was supposed to hit 110 today but I think it got stuck around 106 again. I cooked dinner at 11:00 in the morning when it was still only 94 degrees outside.  |

We went to the Giants game today We saw 104 in the Mission district 107 at our home in Pittsburg
